We love couples, solo adventurers, & furry friends who want one level beyond tent camping.The Eco-Cabin is a rustic, 2-story hand built cabin in town. You'll enjoy the entire cabin, firepit, firewood, swing chairs, swing bed, king size bed, linens, and a bathhouse with private toilet, sink and shower. We do allow pets but there is a 15$ pet fee per pet which is billed separately. There is parking and roaming rights to the surrounding 23.8 acres. We are convenient to the NC Zoo and Seagrove!

Cabin in the Hollow - 8.6 miles to Zoo/Private

Enjoy a great escape to our log cabin in the hollow. Romantic and cozy, with a walk around rock fireolace. it comes with plenty of charm and some wonderful antiques for your enjoyment. The surrounding area is a beautiful landscape with a paved drive and is easily accessible with self check -in. So you can have the feeling of being away from it all but are actually in a lovely quite neighborhood that is close to town. There is an outdoor picnic area and plenty of woods for your privacy.

My mother's family grew up here, six boys and girls in overalls and a pair of cows, Red and Daisy. Vickee was an amazing host and made sure we felt comfortable in her home during our stay. She communicated the whole time with me and was very responsive to any questions that I had. We stayed in her home for a couple of weeks so her and her cleaning team would come in periodically throughout our stay to change sheets, towels, etc. She has food available to us in her fridge for us that she prepared which was YUMMY. She also offered to cook us breakfast/ do anything she could to make sure we were recharged for our long work days at the IHFC. She also went out of her way to set up a table for our small team dinner that we hosted in her home during market. The home is in a beautiful and quiet location so do not hesitate booking. You can tell Vickee has a heart for what she does and she is wonderful at it. This is the BEST Airbnb house I have stayed in by far. We enjoyed our stay and we will be returning next time we are in North Carolina.

We had a lovely weekend at this super cute and cozy farmhouse. This older farmhouse is beautifully updated and very charming with lovely outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy. We felt right at home and found our host very responsive to any questions we had. It is an excellent choice if you want to relax and unwind and enjoy nature, or if you want a quiet spot outside of local towns but still within driving distance to restaurants, shopping and the NC Zoo. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We had an incredible stay! The hosts were beyond kind and made us feel right at home. The house was absolutely adorable, cozy, and well-equipped. Our toddler loved the friendly farm animals, especially the cows and horses with the stunning view from the property. The hosts were so thoughtful, letting her interact with the animals and making her feel special. It was the perfect family getaway, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

This was our second time visiting the House in the Hill! It's so peaceful and secluded. My family celebrated Easter and spent our Spring Break here. The kids loved having their Easter egg hunt out in the yard. We had plans to visit the NC Zoo but the kids chose to stay and play at the house instead. We will definitely be back again!

The house, bathroom, and bedroom were immaculately clean. The rustic design of the house was very beautiful and had a comfortable feeling. The surround nature of the yard gave me the feeling of being in the middle of a quiet forest. It was far enough off the main road to not hear any cars. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well. Justin was very accommodating to my late arrival and quickly responded to my messages. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. Wifi connectivity was good and they left the password by the bed. It had good sized walk in closet for hanging clothes. Even though I didn't use it, the TV in the bedroom was huge. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here for anyone that wants a peaceful place to lay there head without any worries or hassles.
