Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large slope plot on the shores of the pristine Lake Storträsk. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

Villa Hattara - a cottage on the shore of a rapid

The most unique and peaceful cottage built in the 19th century in Nukarinkoski. Here you can easily relax, enjoy nature and even fish. Nature trails start in front of the house and the cottage plot is on the shore of the rapid. In the yard of the cottage, you can sit and listen to the roar of the rapids. From the sauna porch you can see directly to the rapids.
