Wow, Mathi is such a great host! We loved the recommendations for the taxi drivers and beaches, and we also love the values she lives by to protect the environment. Her place is inspiring, with the permaculture gardens, homemade cleaning supplies, and all of the work she has put in to the little community that she has built on the hill. We highly recommend the meals that are cooked on site, and the views/breezes are the best around!

This place is right on the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen in my life. It was perfect for a weekend with family and friends to enjoy a relaxing weekend. The condo is perfect to get away from the noise and chaos of city life.

I would highly recommend Nathan’s place - we had a great time. We loved being outside all the time, it was very relaxing and comfortable. We were doing kite surfing lessons on playa copal and so it was an ideal location for us to walk to our lessons and also a very relaxed area for staying at. Nathan gave us lots of local recommendations for the sunset, for restaurants and even some local eggs and homemade ice cream. Thank you Nathan we loved our stay at your place! We hope to be back one day.

The house is old and wooden, which gives it a unique and nostalgic personality. It is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you would expect from a BnB. It has a very large garden space where our pet could explore and feel free. An excellent experience. We would come back again.

We had an unforgettable experience at Helene's house. He was always very kind to answer us and the place was equipped with everything we needed. The beaches in the area are spectacular and the best thing is that it is still the least crowded region of Guanacaste.

The house is very beautiful and spacious. Rolando was an excellent host, very proactive and kind, he always answered our questions super fast. The house is located in the center of town, which is great for supermarket shopping, and the beaches are between 15-30 minutes by car and are beautiful

Great place, it has all the amenities. The view directly overlooks the sea, it is incredible, and you can go birdwatching from the balcony. José Gabriel was super friendly. I highly recommend it, the cleanliness was impeccable and it is close to several popular beaches in the area.

Great place to stay in the North of Costa Rica. A little more remote compared to the regular vacation spots . Less traffic, slower pace, friendly people but everything you need. Restaurants, grocery stores and plenty of beaches to visit, some all to yourself. The house is large. Big kitchen, living area ,two big bedrooms and a large back yard with a private pool. Very safe but most places are in the CR. If you are looking to stay in the La Cruz area, this is the place. Thanks Lucie .

The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. She was flexible with my late arrival time and was very welcoming. I cannot list all of the superlatives in this short space. The home was very clean and the photographs represented the space well. I especially appreciated the quiet site, hot shower, and coffee supplies. It was a very short drive to the Dreams resort, where they rest of my companions were staying. It was a 20 minute drive up to La Cruz, where I found the most delicious bakery. I drove about 90 minutes to the National Park - Rincon de la Vieja. I wish I could have stayed longer than 4 nights to explore all of the beaches and parks in this beautiful area.

Great place to visit if you like nature walks on the beach.. if your looking for a place to relax get always and not worry about any noise or traffic this is the place to be.. ocean is about 400 ft away.. Lester the care taker and his wife are so wonderful and lovely people.. make sure you ask Lester to take you for a ride around the coastal..

We were very well hosted by María and her family. The breakfast and meal concocted were very nice and allowed us to chat with María who was very patient with our approximate Spanish! On the other hand, we were able to visit the farm and take a horse ride, a real joy! The cabin is in the countryside, surrounded by lush nature! If you are looking for a change of scenery, calm and contact with the locals, we highly recommend this place.
