Vacation rentals in Raanujärvi

Perfect location for our Rovaniemi adventure. We loved being slightly out of the town so we could just walk down to the river to see the sunset and the NORTHERN LIGHTS! I would recommend renting a car if you stay here though you probably could figure out the buses. It's just a little ways out so a bit far to walk. The sauna was great. Tidy, clean and felt like a home. Kitchen was well-equipped. Would happily stay here again!

Nora's place is truly exceptional! The villa is beautifully maintained and fully equipped with everything you need to settle in comfortably. Located just 15–20 minutes from the city, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and peaceful seclusion. The area is also one of the best spots to catch the Northern Lights, we were lucky to see them on all four nights of our stay! We were a group of 12, including 4 kids, and the space was perfect for us. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard and exploring the nearby woods. Honestly, the villa itself was the highlight of our trip. Nora is an outstanding host - warm, responsive, and welcoming. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If you're considering a stay in Rovaniemi , Villa Pahta is an absolute gem. Highly recommended for its charm, comfort, and unforgettable location!

This was an incredible experience!! This stay and it’s host went far beyond anything we could have wished for. This place is perfect for a romantic couples holidays. The location, the cozyness, the cleanliness, the host support welcoming us and facilities for this stay were a 11/10. Basicly we would have given a 6 stars out of 5, if there was the option. “Wonderful stay in Maula” We had a fantastic stay at this cozy Airbnb! The place was just as described – modern, clean and very well equipped. We especially liked the breathtaking view of the Finnish countryside and the tranquility of the surroundings. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us great tips for activities in the area and made us feel comfortable at all times. We would particularly like to highlight the sauna, which was a real highlight – ideal for relaxing after an active day. The location was also excellent. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights several times. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again anytime!

We stayed in Sonja and Börje's house for two weeks, the two live in the adjoining house and were always reachable and exceptionally helpful. They even lent us their car when we were having problems with our car. They had great tips for us and whenever available if we had any questions. The old house is super cozy, in the kitchen-living room you can bear it wonderfully even in bad weather. The toddler game room is worth its weight in gold! The tranquility and the ice-covered Baltic Sea on the doorstep, the northern lights with clear skies, the homemade cinnamon rolls that Sonja brought by, the equipment we were allowed to borrow, all this helped us to have a very relaxing vacation. It was also perfect and completely problem-free with our dogs. Thank you very much for the great hospitality!

Miia is a great host. She is super helpful and help us a lot before we arrive Rovaniemi. The house is such a beautiful place to stay, be it the house environment or their surrounding area. It is too big for 4 of us but we did enjoyed it due to great location in front of the lake. We experienced Northern Light just in front of the balcony. Very recommended to stay! Worth it! Everything was really good. Easy to find, easy communication and a relaxing environment. Also the sauna was a big plus. We can really recommend staying here :)

This place was heaven! It had all the facilities and things we hoped for a relaxing holiday. Sauna, jacuzzi. View of the lake, peace and tranquility. The first two days of our trip we were really stressed as the airport had lost our luggage but i have to say coming back to this place, really made us forget about all our problems.
