A wilderness experience in Lapland! Here you can cook food on a fire and relax in a wood-fired sauna. Sauna cottage in a quiet location, about 25 kilometers from Rovaniemi. Located in the yard of another cottage. A view of the forest from the sauna cabin's porch. There is no water line, the water containers are filled when you arrive. Spacious sauna. BBQ house at your disposal (about 50 meters from the cottage). A dry toilet accessed through a canopy. Refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. No hot plate. Linens/towels included.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. A brand new wooden holiday house isituated in small village 60km from Rovaniemi and 40km from the Swedish border. There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.
