We had a fantastic stay at Hillcrest Cottages! The accommodations are absolutely beautiful - even better than we anticipated! The cottage is pristine inside and out - a perfect blend of vintage and modern. The location is beautiful with views of mountains and trees in every direction. The screened in porch is fantastic on rainy days. The beds are supremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The shower and bathroom are fantastic, modern, and clean. The kitchen, too, is simple modern and clean. There are stores, eateries, and shops within a very short driving distance. The hosts are lovely and friendly - including Chip! We couldn't recommend this place anymore strongly. I can't wait to go back!

Heathers Cottage was just we were looking for. The dock and waterside camp chairs were a great way to enjoy the peaceful Loon Lake. We did have rain during our stay and found ourself stuck indoors but this was no obstacle at all. The cottage had a book for everyone’s liking, many different board games and a TV as well, the time flew by! Can’t wait to return back to enjoy the get-a-way from city life!

Barbara’s home was beautiful. The photos don’t do it justice. The home is beautifully updated, well maintained, and very clean. They have plenty of amenities and household/outdoor items that you need for a stay at the lake. It is a great property. We will definitely be repeat renters 😊

Very spacious and gave great Adirondack cabin vibes!

It was a great long weekend. Close enough to the crowds to enjoy, and far enough away to be private and also enjoyable. It would be nice to see some growth in restaurants and more options for food.

We had a very nice time at Tim’s place. It was very clean and cozy. The views were amazing from the window overlooking the back with the lake. The space heaters did a great job at heating up the loft. We were very comfortable. I had planned to do some kayaking but it was a little too chilly/windy in the morning and we got caught up hiking and seeing some sights in the area for the afternoon when it warmed up! We had dinner at Lanzis lakeside tavern it was delicious and people are so friendly! All in all we had a great time with our 2 dogs and they loved running around the large yard. Stargazing was spectacular , just such a pretty area!!

We absolutely loved our stay! So much so that we already booked another stay in a different cabin just a few days from now. The entire property is gorgeous and so, so peaceful. Even with quite a bit of rain, everything was great thanks to how awesome Christine was! We are very grateful for her hospitality and how responsive she was with the flooding and minor plumbing issue it caused. Not sure other Hosts would be as willing as she was to fix the issue so quickly. It was very much appreciated. Can't wait to be back!

Good getaway spot for a weekend in the winter. The area was quiet and private. Not too many people around which was great. Not far from downtown Lake George and 15 min from Bolton Landing. Place was clean and had everything we wanted! We will go again at some point! Beautiful views if you walk towards the water. Fireplace worked well. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. All basic amenities provided.

We had an excellent experience… best way for our family to spend summer vacation. The home was a perfect fit for all 6 of us in terms of space and layout. We enjoyed the porch, pool , lake and all town had to offer. We will be back. Thank you, Michelle for being an excellent host !!!

4.5 stars This is a lakefront, standalone villa with a deck and chairs right over the water and incredible views from the living area. It was very clean and we loved starting and ending our days on the deck. This villa is at the edge of the property and feels nice and private. Unfortunately, the property next door has what sounds like a large pump right outside the bedroom window. The pump turned on/off every few minutes throughout the night, so if you are a light sleeper this may be tough for you.

Our family of 5 had a perfect 3 night stay at this cozy cabin on the water. It was perfect writ equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling on the deck while watching our kids fish from the dock. Our kids especially enjoyed sitting around the fire out in the yard each night. If we ever visit the area again we will surely book this spot. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Melody Manor. The unit was immaculate and had everything you need. The view was fabulous! We were there in the off season so it was quiet - but, just what we were looking for. I can see how this would be a great place to stay in the summer - pool, tennis/pickle ball, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very happy with Rose and how responsive she was - will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in Lake George!

We had a great stay!! There was so much fun things to do on site and off site. Wendy and Anthony were great hosts! We can’t wait to come back!

The sundowner hotel has easy check in and out ,very clean and the apt a choose had everything I need as I was home Great location,5 minutes walking from bars,,supermarket stores to get souvenir ,best breakfast you will have at “the breakfast spot club”.Me and my family had an amazing time (not enough days to enjoy,must go for at least a week if you really loves nature)Paula Lisboa🇧🇷🇺🇸

We’ve been coming to Schroon for 18 years, so have a lot of experience with cabin rentals in the area. The outdoor space at Sally’s is stunning, with sunsets that never got old! Though the property is just off the road, it was quiet and very private, as the front of the cabin and outdoor space face the pristine shoreline. The cabin is rustic and cozy in all the good ways, & the beds are so, SO comfortable! We cooked most of our meals in, which made it nice to have such a beautiful view from the kitchen window. The Adirondack Store is within walking/biking distance, which made it fun to dine in for breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking/mountain biking/fishing/ADK Extreme/exploring. Whatever our daytime activities were, we made sure to back at the cabin to cook, take an evening swim & view the gorgeous sunsets. There were a few household mishaps beyond our host’s control, but she maintained good communication, promptly addressing the issues. We hope to stay here again!

This stay was absolutely perfect in every way! The space itself was spotless — clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. The host was exceptional — incredibly responsive, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately, and it felt like they truly wanted us to have the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and worry-free getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. We’re already planning our next trip back!

the place is awesome, my only critique is the main bathroom has a deep tub and I'm old, a grab handle to assist in getting in & out would have helped me

We enjoyed our stay so much at DyAnn’s place - such a peaceful lake house, perfect for a family. We have 3 young kids and there was more than enough space. We experienced some storms and lost power and internet - host was very attentive and helpful, as was the automatic switch generator. This was by far the most well-stocked rental we’ve ever had. Area is quiet, not much for shops/restaurants, but so centrally located to other areas that we didn’t mind at all. We stayed very busy! We had a fantastic vacation at Loon Lake!

We were in town for the Lake George Triathlon and Margaret's was the perfect location (just about 10 minutes from where we needed to be). Clean and comfy, and a beautiful little lake to relax next to.

This beautiful lake house made this day truly special, despite the cloudy and rainy weather. The house’s warm and welcoming atmosphere was therapeutic, and the lake view was simply breathtaking. Everything we needed was within reach, and Nick was incredibly attentive to our every need.

This Airbnb is beautiful, well appointed and roomy. We hardly saw another soul. We had fun cooking in and eating out. The fire pit on the back patio was a big hit, too. Access to the lake is only several hundred feet away. Our toddlers had a wonderful time near and in the water. Older people had fun hiking and kayaking. This is a lovely Airbnb, well taken care of, with responsive hosts. We can’t wait to book it again!

We had the incredible pleasure of staying at Elyse’s home in the days leading up to our wedding, and I can honestly say it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The house itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. Every room has its own personality, and the views of Schroon Lake are simply breathtaking. Waking up to the morning mist and soft fog rolling over the water felt like something out of a dream. Whether we were sipping coffee on the cozy deck, relaxing by the fire, or enjoying dinner in the sunroom overlooking the lake, every moment was serene. Elyse and her husband were the most gracious hosts—thoughtful, kind, and genuinely warm. You can feel the care they’ve poured into this home and the joy they take in sharing it. We couldn’t recommend this place more to anyone looking for a restful escape or a meaningful stay in nature. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
