Head upstairs to your private area. Fully renovated, 2 bedrooms, bath and a sitting room complete with a well stocked coffee bar. While there is no kitchen, you do have a big fridge and microwave. Host does live on the main floor but uses a separate entrance so no shared spaces.

We created this ~650sqft modern 1BR apartment (ADU) in the basement of our 1926 craftsman, which is located on a quiet, residential street in Queen Anne with close proximity to downtown Seattle. We previously rented the unit to long-term tenants, but we recently decided to refresh it and furnish it for our own use as well as occasional short-term rentals. It has a separate, private entrance through our fenced-in and nicely-landscaped backyard.
