Well maintained, unique, cozy, charming, serene & private haven near the lake. Far enough from the big city to leave the bustling day behind but close enough to keep your commute to a minimum. From the suite, downtown Gatineau is 20min away and Ottawa is less than 30min. Designed by us, Airbnb users, with the comfort and features we would appreciate ourselves, with all basic commodities. Whether you come for a stopover or a relaxing getaway, it will surely meet your needs and expectations.

Private Studio, with no direct interaction with the hosts. About 15 minutes from Gatineau and 20 minutes from Ottawa by car. For an additional fee (and subject to availability), you can access the spa, sauna, and cold plunge pool. A lunchbox breakfast is included. Perfect for workers or tourists. We have 2 dogs and a cat (they do not have access to the studio). The studio is independent, yet attached to the house, and we ask visitors to maintain an appropriate noise level during their stay.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Our cabin is surrounded by majestic forest and is just minutes away from Eagle and Pine Lake beaches! Enjoy the charm of staying in a stylishly decorated log cabin, delight in a cup of coffee and light continental breakfast on the porch overlooking the picturesque view of the forest. A short drive to Haliburton & Minden and a 5 minute drive to Sir Sam's Ski Resort. After a fun-filled day, craft meals in our fully stocked kitchen and relax by the fire pit. Truly a retreat!
