Cottage - The Getaway

It is our pleasure to introduce our newest and most southern accommodation at Slope Point, This holiday house features 3 bedrooms, one bathroom with an open plan living area. Ideal for families, small groups or a couple just wanting to relax and getaway. Totality surrounded by farm land, relax and enjoy country living. Television, fireplace, free wifi (basic needs only please) and fantastic views. Washing machine and dryer if needed. cloths rack and outdoors line provided. In Addition, we have a caravan point availalbe at the cottage for groupls. please email direct for this option The cottage is located at 207 Slope Point Road. Our recepton is at 164 Slope Point Road and main accommodation site. Currently we are experiancing technical difficulties which should be resolved in the near future. Currently the price of the cottage is charged out at one flat rate for everyone. if there is more than 3 in the house, you may be asked to pay a small charge on arrival until this issue is sorted. I apologise for this problem, it is out of the owners and airbnb control. All enquires welcome. Hopefully this is sorted soon. thanks for your time.

Fully self contained gypsy wagon located close to beach of Porpoise Bay. No ocean views but beach is 2min walk. Super king size plush $3000 mattress. Very tidy inside. Cooking facilities with microwave & fridge. Log burner with wood supplied. BBQ area. Linen/towels included. This accommodation is located on our property beside our house. The toilet/shower room (converted water tank) is located 9 meters away from the gypsy, a short walk across the grass lawn. Our gypsy wagon can sleep 2 adults

We loved staying at Kate’s place in Papatowai. It was the perfect location to explore the Catlins sitting in between Curio Bay (we swam with the dolphins and watched the penguins) and Kaka Point. There are also great walks down to beach from the house. The house itself has beautiful views of the beach and cliffs. The house was spotless and brand new. The kitchen had everything we needed. We thought the house was great value for money. Kate was a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and she made lots of recommendations. We loved the Catlans. We have traveled extensively in NZ and this is a hidden gem with literally no crowds. We had some of the most beautiful beaches and walks to ourselves. Def would recommend.

Chris’ home on Stewart Island met our needs well. It was well located for anyone comfortable walking approx. 15 minutes into town, and featured comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Chris was very friendly and responsive to all questions. We had six adults on our visit and found there to be ample room with the two full bathrooms and seating space in the main rooms. Worth noting, the walk does feature a very steep road and driveway so this is prohibitive for anyone with any mobility issues.

A functional laundry area is presented, featuring a washing machine and a utility sink. Adjacent to the laundry, a doorway leads to additional rooms, while a basket awaits for laundry collection on the floor. Light-colored flooring enhances the bright, practical atmosphere.

We loved this beautiful home. Pip is an excellent communicator and provided good tips before our stay, which was appreciated. Check-in was super easy. This spotless house would be perfect for a couple with two children and even two couples and two children as it has three separate bedrooms, and a large lawn for the kids to run around on. It is also close to Curio Bay and the Petrified Forest. Being a back section, it is also very quiet - a great place to unwind. Very highly recommended.
