Greg was incredibly accommodating in accepting our last minute booking request. The place was serene, and the bedding linens felt wonderfully fresh and clean. Every aspect of the house worked seamlessly, and Greg went out of his way to engage in delightful conversation, sharing captivating surfing stories with me. We also opted for breakfast, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the entire family. Thank you, Greg, for your hospitality.

Liam is very warm and welcoming and he made me feel right at home. He is thoughtful and incredibly helpful, always looking to make sure you get the best out of your stay. It was lovely engaging with him and the other guests, as he made everyone feel at ease. He’s space is remarkable, with so many open areas to relax and enjoy your time at the house. Bonus for the views and quick walk down to the best beach too. His staff is friendly and helpful and they took such good care of us. I’ll definitely recommend his place to anyone looking for a little sanctuary in EL. Thank you so much Liam and team ✨

The Poppy Room

The Poppy room was perfect for our overnight stay, en route from Durban to Cape St Francis Bay. Extremely comfortable beds, with excellent bedding and even electric blankets. Amanda is a great host, super friendly, and accessible. Breakfast was very good too. I am happy to recommend and will most definitely use Amanda's place again.

German Bay Lodge

German Bay Lodge is the only Bed & Breakfast in Gonubie that has direct access to the sea. The rest have a road between them and the water. Relax on the patio overlooking the pool and while enjoying the view. We have a floodlight which lights up the sea at night. All our rooms have magnificent sea-views and are well appointed with en-suite bathrooms. Our rooms all have queen size beds, DSTV and facilities to make Tea & Coffee. A full English breakfast is served.

The Paralian Exclusive Guesthouse

Our newly refurbished guesthouse offers a peaceful place to rest. With a total of 13 rooms inhouse, 4 breathtaking sea-facing luxury suits, 3 family units and 6 standard non- sea facing luxury suits, The Paralian is located 100m from the German Settler Monument. We are a walking distance from one of East london"s fine dinning restaurant, Grazia as well as the new German Taste. The Virgin active is also a walking distance from us for the members.

Great stay. One of the best AirBnbs I have stayed at. The keyless system works amazingly well, and the rooms are very modern and very nicely equipped. There was a breakfast provided and a good coffee machine in the communal lounge. Will definitely be back.
