During the summer, you can see lush greenery and the branches of the yard maple through the windows, while in winter, the nearby Lake Jyväsjärvi glistens on the horizon. As a guest, you can enjoy peace and quiet in the coziness of a small house (40 m²). From the highway, you can reach our property by car in just a few minutes; we are located 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from the center of Jyväskylä.

You can enjoy the sounds of nature while staying on the large terraces of this unique home on the beach, where the sun shines all day from morning to night. The holiday apartment is located on the shore of a clear and drinkable clean Päijänne. You have access to all the amenities of our summer cottages, from air conditioning to a sauna. There is the option to heat a large hot tub on-site for an additional fee of €50. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, or otherwise just staying on the lake with a rowing boat, a canoe is also available.

It is easy to relax in this unique and peaceful vacation resort. The bright and spacious cabin offers a 180-degree view of the lake, where you can see a pair of otters frolicking on the lake. You can also see a beaver family playing around in the nearby area. The separate sauna building also offers a beautiful view of the lake. There is a separate fee for the use of the outdoor hot tub, and its use must be arranged before the start of the reservation. A peaceful and beautiful cottage where it is easy to enjoy yourself.

In the summer kitchen, you can cook either on an open fire or on a gas grill. The summer kitchen and the cottage kitchen complement each other perfectly. The fun mobile sauna heats up with wood and offers gentle steam baths and a place to wash with lake water. The large lake terrace is most likely the most beautiful living room where you have watched nature shows.

A 4-person sauna cottage completed in 2024 along a magnificent rapid. The calming rapids scenery guarantees a relaxing visit to Koskenrannan Helmi. The cottage is well suited for relaxation, fishing or even boating. In the large sauna of the cottage you can admire the flowing water, refreshment is easy in the always open rapids or in the outdoor hot tub. Tervetuloa viihtymään mökillämme, jonka terassilla voit nauttia kesäillasta Päijänteen järvimaisemaa ihaillen luonnon rauhassa. Ranta on ihan käden ulottuvilla mökin pihasta ja antaa mahdollisuuksia uimiseen, kalastamiseen ja souteluun. Rauhallisella mökillä vieraamme ovat nukkuneet parhaat yöunensa. Mökissä on kaikki mukavuudet ja hyvä varustelu. Mökki lämpiää ilmalämpöpumpulla ja leivinuunilla. Saunassa on puulämmitteinen kiuas. Sisä-wc ja suihku, sekä astian- ja pyykinpesukoneet löytyvät.

Good transport connections. 2-4 km to Säynätsalo's services and Alvar Aalto's destinations, 0.3 km to the bus stop. Good game/playing opportunities in the school yard nearby. 2 Sup-boards, kayak, trampoline. The nearest swimming beach is 500m away, the kayaking/supboard access is 150m away.

Koskikara

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
