Situated close to the main centre of Tairua, Diamond Retreat is a newly refurbished, modern self contained studio separate from the owners home. Tairua is a small beachside community with lovely cafes and restaurants only a 5 minute walk from here. 2 Hours S.E. of Auckland Tairua is a great town to base yourself to see the main attractions of the Coromandel. Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove within a 30 minute drive.We have a beautiful safe harbour, a surf beach and great fishing and diving.

There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

Coro Camping, Coromandel

Coro Camping is a totally private eco camping site with your own river pool, hidden away in the beautiful and peaceful Rangihau valley near Coroglen. Close to all the popular beaches with great biking and tramping on your doorstep. Our season runs from the beginning of December to the end of March. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.
