Yurt on a domestic farm

Come and spend an experiential country getaway in a unique yurt in Porvoo! Located only about 6km from the center of Porvoo! If you'd like, you can also check out our small farm's numerous animals up close. In summer 2025, we offer small donkey tours for guests as an additional service! Additional information can be found in the text below. Along the forest path (1.5km), you can get to a lake with swimming (not suitable for small children). The lake does not have a common swimming beach so it is very peaceful.

There are horses in the courtyard, and you can visit the farm's own museum, which is located in an 18th-century granary. Here you can explore the cultural landscapes and enjoy the peace of the countryside. Possibility to fish and paddleboard (15€/3 h), pier 2,5 km away. 10 km to the public beach.

This delightfully atmospheric, over 100-year-old little cottage invites you to stop for a peaceful milieu by nature and indulge in presence alone or together.The ❤️ cottage comfortably accommodates 3-4, but in the summertime, there are also sleeping quarters for three on the cottage. A place in the middle of nowhere, but a human distance away from multiple homes and services. The nearest shops are about a 15-minute drive and public (train) can be reached about 5km from the property.

It has 1 bedroom, a fully fitted kitchen, living & dining room, bathroom with shower and a veranda. Tucked between a forest and a lake, the cottage is very peaceful. Helsinki and Porvoo easily reached with own car, no buses nearby. Separate sauna building available with prior notice.

Come and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in a log-framed village school built in 1933. You'll be able to stay in a former folk school teacher's apartment. The bedrooms are for five, but if you want, you'll get a crib, as well as extra mattresses, there's 60m2 of space. You also have the option to sauna in an atmospheric wood-burning yard sauna. If you'd like, you can rent a lot with a separate fee. Welcome!

Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.

In the peace of the countryside, close to the city of Porvoo. A small house in a farmyard in a quiet area. In the yard, it's possible to enjoy the company of two small dogs, cats, and chickens. The wood sauna heats up quickly and the steam is good. There's a nice snack in the home. The nearest beach is Valkjärvi beach, located about 5 kilometers away.
