Waterfront vacation rentals in Puerto Plata

We've stayed at this complex several times before so we knew what to expect, but first time to this unit. Thought we'd treat ourselves getting the front ocean front unit and we were not disappointed! Super clean, well equipped, wifi was reliable, mini splits in the bedrooms were great and kept us cool at night - we had the doors open all day making the most of that Cabarete breeze. Beds were comfy, towels were clean and soft, kitchen had everything we needed, freezer froze ice trays super fast - it was perfect! And the staff at the complex areaways super nice, some recognized us from previous visits which is always nice :-) We'll be back!

I felt right at home. Definitely enjoyed the feeling like to locals and embracing the Dominican Republic culture. I will definitely be back.

Marta was so responsive and proactive. There was an issue with the initial apt booked and she had another apt ready for us that was bigger at no extra charge. She is a very pleasant host. I would def recommend 100 times.

Bamboo's condo is nicely decorated, bright and airy with large sliding glass windows that lead out to the side balcony and main balcony. The condo has an amazing view of the well kept gardens and ocean. The beautiful beach is just steps away with restaurants down to the right. The area is great for walking with Janet's grocery store as well as restaurants close by. Bamboo as well as the condo staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!

Gorgeous place. No AC in the main living area. As long as you are aware of that and the separate bill for energy use. Can’t beat the view. Great stay.

I had a wonderful stay and it was more than I expected. I've stayed at many places in the DR and this is by far the best. It is very close to two beaches, with one of them having super easy access. The views are also spectacular. It was close enough to the centre of town that it was a short walk to many good restaurants but far enough away that it was quiet. I never heard one motorcycle or car while in the unit. From the moment I sat on the balcony, I could feel the stress leave my body. Just being on the balcony and listening to the breeze blowing, the birds singing and the waves hit the beach was so peaceful and tranquil. As for the electricity usage, I found there to be enough breeze during the day to keep the apartment comfortable. I only ran the air conditioner in the night and only in the bedroom. During the day I kept the bedroom curtains closed and the door shut. This kept the bedroom cool all day. I 100% look forward to returning.

Alexander is very friendly and a fantastic host. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely visit again. The home was perfect for our family of four. It was very clean and close to the local public beach and within walking distance to Santa Fe, which is a great place to visit as well. The restaurant, Maria’s, is just a short walk away and very delicious.

We LOVED our stay at Alexa’s place. It was right on the beach, in a quiet, private, guarded community. We loved watching the kite boarding on the beach every day. It was clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to chill. Great home base for our adventures. We loved walking to town on the beach in the evening for dinner

From the location to the accomodations, Martina's house is spectacular. It comfortably fit our family of 8 and served as the perfect backdrop to a memorable family vacation! We struggled to find the house at first, since we arrived at night in pouring rain and poor visibility, but Apolinar was incredibly responsive and guided us to where we needed to be. So grateful for him! The location is safe and secure, steps away from the beach, and central to kite surfing schools, delicious restaurants, and more. The house is very comfortable and welcoming, WiFi was strong, and kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with thoughtful touches. We felt right at home. We highly recommend booking Martina's place!

the location was great near the city with great food and beautiful tourist attractions. My family of 8 and I fit very comfortably I would recommend this place and would stay here again!

This place was way more than what I wished It would be . It’s so raw , totally surrounded by nature , perfect for me because I needed a real get away from everything, the urban noises, somewhere I could feel like in my village back home in Africa. If you’re a sounds of nature lover , you’re gonna enjoy listening to trees rubbing on each other when it gets windy , and the birds singing. Your stay will feel a lot like a camping retreat . If you mind the insects, not having a tv , being far from stores and restaurants; you’re probably gonna run away .

Really nice, modern, clean and spacious house with a lot of amenities. Daisy was a good host, gave us clear directions for the check in and check out and gave us a tour of the villa upon arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Jaay was the best host I ever had in Airbnb. Our experience was SHOCKINGLY amazing. Great communication, It was everything I was expecting and more. Not much to add to the other reviews. The place was amazing,super clean and comfortable and a 2 minute walk to beach which was mostly empty and extremely beautiful.The weather was perfect with strong ocean breeze and the pool was a great addition. The grounds were beautiful and maintained and it’s a little gated community so private and safe. Lastly the hosts were very responsive and flexible and helpful,very relaxed 😎

As a frequent traveler to Sosua, I've stayed just about all the nice places but Rob's place is by far the nicest with all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay. If available for my future trips, this is most definitely where I'll be staying. Thanks Rob for being a wonderful host

I loved the place, everything was very clean and beautiful, the accommodations were in good condition, the pool was very nice, and the beach was a bit rough for swimming, but it’s a wonderful place to relax and spend time with family.

A very spacious and comfortable apartment, with several rooms and bathrooms. All very well equipped with air conditioning. It is a highly recommended apartment, we really liked it. The host responded quickly and kindly.

Alexa was a great host and the airbnb worked for what I needed. There was also an ATM close that could be used if needed.

This was a fantastic one bedroom in Cabarete. It was very safe and you could walk to most things. Unit was as described and the host was very helpful. I would definitely come back!
