There are also ski trails and a sledding hill in Jyrkkäkoski nearby. Northern Lights illuminate the frosty sky and summer awaits for swimming, hiking and nature. There is no shower, but well water comes inside the sauna. Drinking water is brought in. The toilet is an outdoor toilet and there is a chamber pot inside if necessary

Villa Kataja holiday home in Paljakka

Completed in 2014, our cottage is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain biking trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. The glass railed terrace, which is the width of the entire cabin, gives you the opportunity to sense the peace of nature in both winter and summer. In the yard there is a wood storage, a campfire site and a hot tub. A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist center in Ukkoha 26 km. Shops: Puolanka center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

The spacious, well-equipped cottage has 2 bedrooms, an open living room-kitchen-dining area, a loft, a bathroom+toilet, a sauna and a shower room+toilet. Views from the windows towards Iso-Syöte. Car and bikes can be covered in the carport. A warm storage space on the countertop and the possibility to service the hobby equipment are available. The lodges and hiking trails are accessible from the front door. Final cleaning and linen can be ordered at an additional cost.

Next to Finland's only free-flowing salmon river that is connected to the pond. Perch, trout and grayling in the Simojoki river. Shelter on the river bank. Handmade log sauna. A suitable place for a self-employed, wilderness-minded person/hunting/fishing group.

The courtyard of the cottage overlooks the magnificent scenery of the Syöte hiking area and the national park. Mountain biking, hiking or skiing can be accessed directly from the cottage yard. Syöte's services and ski resort are just a few minutes away by car (about 5 km). The cottage has a renovated kitchen and an atmospheric cottage fireplace. A perfect haven of peace all year round. ​This stunning, year-round cottage with electricity and running water offers the perfect escape for nature lovers. Located directly on the river bank, next to the noise of the rapids, it guarantees a unique and relaxing atmosphere – here, light pollution is an unknown concept. The gentle steam of the courtyard sauna and the wood-burning stove relaxes the body and mind. ​The cottage is ideal for four (4) people.

Cottage and beach sauna on the shore of Honkajärvi

This cozy and atmospheric cottage is located in a quiet area on the shores of the pure-water Honkajärvi. Welcome to relax, cook in the bosom of nature, go boating on the lake and enjoy the gentle steam of the beach sauna. You have a rowboat and, if you wish, a hot tub (extra charge). Berry picking areas and hunting grounds can be found right next to the cottage. With solar power, you can use the appliances in the cottage and charge your mobile phone. There is no running water. The cottage is wood heated.

Villa Salme: Cozy lakeside logcabin+private beach

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
