We had a great stay!! After reading all the great reviews, our kids were excited to see what “treat” they would get…and Diane did not disappoint! She was also very responsive with any questions we had. 100% would stay there again!!

Thomas was an excellent host! He lets us check in slightly early and checked in on us to make sure everything was in working order and we were comfortable. The house and property are absolutely breathtaking and everything was squeaky clean, the garden he keeps was incredible and so was the view. I really appreciated the ice cream in the freezer and the abundance of clean towels:). 11/10 definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area and is looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable, and gorgeous place.

One of the best equipped houses we have ever stayed at. Richard was also on of the best hosts we’ve ever dealt with. Always available and extremely helpful, friendly and responsive.

Lovely, charming house. Patricia was very kind and welcoming. She met us at the house despite it being late. Patricia's thoughtfulness was readily apparent in the wealth of kitchen amenities and options she shares with her guests; definitely a people person! The home itself is exactly as pictured. Parking is easy. It's quiet at night for sleeping. With windows open the morning traffic noise may bother some. We had a comfortable stay and would stay here again.

Naoufal’s place was perfect for our trip! The house was very spacious! Naoufal was a wonderful host! There was milk, fresh fruit, and breakfast food waiting for us when we arrived which I felt was a generous measure that really went above and beyond! I highly recommend staying here! Especially if you are with family or children & teens… it’s spacious enough for everyone on a safe, quiet street. We hope to stay here again next time we visit.

I worked hard to feel like I was a good guest. Sarah told me I went above and beyond by the many cleaning tasks I undertook, triggered by my boyfriend getting cut by glass on his foot trying to fold towels. That does not take away from Sarah or the property as a whole, because I believe these were overlooked tasks by the cleaning crew and therefore maintenance staff were unaware of it. It was almost immaculate until I started realizing that it was not as as tip top as the standards of cleanliness at “Top down housekeeping”, who’s owner and staff are thorough, honest & flexible with pricing.

This is our second stay at Courtenay's historic home. As she describes - it's an old home with the idiosyncracies of a home with over 200 years of history. It is a spacious home with lovely furnishings. Kitchen has all you'll need. The area can't be beat if you are visiting Providence and/or Brown University. We were lucky enough to book her house during our son's graduation and could walk up the hill to the campus in 5 minutes. Courtenay is always responsive and flexible. We will stay there again!

Richard was a great host. We stayed at the historic home as part of our Reunion weekend at Brown. Gathering by the enormous fire place over coffee was a highlight. It was a cold and rainy weekend, but the backyard was lovely

The location was quiet and private but had restaurants and coffees within 100 yards. Convenient and easy to navigate in and out of the city.

Had such a great stay at Michael’s place. He provided very clear instructions for check-in, which was extremely helpful as we got in later at night than we had originally intended. The space itself was cute and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Zero complaints, will stay here again in the future!

Cathy was a wonderful host!! The home spacious and centrally located. She was very responsive. The parking is free and usually there was a spot right in front of the house. The neighborhood is very quite and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Susan's place is a nice, quiet, cosy little attic apartment. It is exactly as depicted in the photos and described in the comments (and in all the other reviews). The location is a quiet, residential street. The bed is comfortable. The shower works well. If you are as tall as I am (6'2''), you'll find yourself crouching in some parts, such as by toilet and getting in and out of the shower, but I was able to stand upright for most of the apartment. The location is convenient enough. It is possible to walk to/from the train station (about 20 mins) and to Downtown Providence (about 30 mins). I had only a backpack with me and was therefore able to use a Spin scooter to quickly get to/from the city. Overall, the place matched what I was looking for my short, two-day stay in Providence. Martha was probably THE best communicator I have ever had on AirBnb and incredible thoughtful and fair. Although the description absolutely states 3rd floor, from the time I made the reservation to the time I arrived, my Moms had suffered a fall and although did not break anything her confidence in climbing the stairs was not there. So I would say this is a perfect spot except those that have trouble with stairs or a lot of luggage. Martha very graciously accommodated the last minute change. Very much appreciated. I highly recommend staying otherwise. Clean, well stocked, organized. Recommend bringing a night light for bathroom.

We had a great stay in Providence at the Tranquil Abode Near Brown / RISD. The property was immaculate, clean and warm and the location was perfect - direct access to the varied delights of Wickenden St and a great location from which to explore Fox Point / College Hill. Lots of cafes and eateries dotted around the local streets within minutes, including Narragansett Brewery down on the waterfront (worth a visit!) It was also a very easy and pleasant walk to downtown Providence. Mary E was a great host - communication was very clear and proactive and we would be very happy to book again!

Spacious apartment in a location that can't be beat: close to RISD and Brown, walking distance to restaurants. It is quiet despite being so central. The place is stunningly decorated, clean, and super well stocked (the kitchen was every appliance you can dream of, both iron and steamer were provided etc!). A perfect spot for a visit to Providence. Highly recommend!

Second time staying and just as amazing as the first stay. Very welcoming to our family on a big graduation weekend. So comfortable and welcoming, It was like coming home.

Our stay was perfect. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The building and neighborhood was picturesque and a very easy walk to the Brown University Campus. The amenities were everything we’d hoped from a well equipped kitchen, to great spaces to relax. There were lots of clean towels and blankets. We would love to stay here every time we visit the area.

If you’re visiting Providence, you simply cannot go wrong by staying here! Easily walkable, close to a super cute coffee spot (Brown Bee) and even walkable to campus! Everything in the unit is so cute and well put together, and the bathroom renovations are to die for! We’ll definitely be back!

This is a very nice location, next to the bridge and peaceful. It would be helpful to know in advance that the checkin front desk is at 150 Conanicus Ave, Jamestown, RI. Although the drive to there is short and pleasant through the beautiful neighborhoods. We actually enjoyed dinner at the same location JB’s on the Water. Rooms are spacious and clean. If you like cook, make sure bring spices and cooking oil, there is cookware. Though the bridge toll is $4 one way to Newport, it is still a good deal.

Charles & Sharolyn were great hosts and have set the apartment up nicely for a comfortable stay. Everything was just as described and the location was perfect for us to attend a wedding in Bristol. Hot tub on a cool spring evening was the cherry on top.

I had an incredible time staying here. The home was beautiful, safe, and the room and bathroom were incredibly clean. Instructions were all clear, and Airo was very helpful in giving us recommendations for places to eat and visit. I would definitely recommend this to other people.

The place was easy to book, clean, and exactly as pictured. The beds were super comfortable. We had a great stay and will come back next time we stay in Providence.
