House vacation rentals in Provence

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Nous remercions Fabrice pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa flexibilité. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans ce mas, le cadre est agréable et paisible. L’hébergement est spacieux, propre et fonctionnel. La literie est confortable. Nous avons apprécié prendre nos repas à l’extérieur au bord de la piscine. Tout était parfait ! Encore un grand merci à Fabrice, vous pouvez y allez les yeux fermés !

A fantastic property in a beautiful, private location with lots of amenities. A short drive to the beach, supermarket and town as well as a small walk to the local restaurants and bars. Brilliant hosts who are very responsive and flexible. Would happily return in the future and couldn’t recommend it enough!

Nous avons passé une super semaine, le logement est très bien équipé et Pierre et Julie nous avaient également mis à disposition tout le nécessaire pour notre bébé de 6 mois. La maison, le jardin, la piscine, tout est impeccable (et très beau !), au calme et pourtant à 5 minutes de Gordes. Les hôtes comme la conciergerie sont réactifs et aux petits soins 👌

We had a beautiful stay at Christian and Anne’s place. We travelled with two couples, a toddler and a baby and the space was great for us. Ansouis is a quiet village with a great bakery and restaurant but within close driving distance of other villages to explore too! The pool was a great addition and we enjoyed dining in the outdoor space. Christian and Anne were really responsive with all communications and super flexible with check in and out! Thanks for sharing your place with us, we would love to return one day!

Le logement de Pierre et Sarah est exceptionnel en tous points. Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire, accueillis avec attention et simplicité. Nous avons hâte de revenir Victoria, Fabrice, Louisa et Manon

Labeaume is a wonderful little gem, and although tiny it has several restaurants, bars, artisan shops and a great little provisions store featuring local produce. Silvie's family chateau has the most incredible location and views overlooking the village and the river. The pool and outdoor areas were stunning, with plenty of options for full sun, shade or in between depending on the weather, including covered areas for dining or relaxing. Inside is every convenience and the most charming rooms. The listing and photographs cannot possibly do justice to how wonderful this place is. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outdoor plancha was a fabulous and social way to cook in the evenings we didn't walk down to the village for typically wonderful French dining. Our favourite was Sablas pizzeria, which serves the most delicious cracker style pizzas and the burgers - oh wow. Probably our favourite trip ever, and that's saying something. Wij hebben een week lang mogen genieten van deze prachtige lokatie met zijn geweldig uitzicht. Een zeer ruime slaapkamer met uitzicht op de zee en de vallei, iedere ochtend een feestje om wakker te worden. De keuken zeer goed uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt en meer. In de omgeving is genoeg te doen en je kan zelfs lopend (beetje klimmen) naar het prachtige dorpje Bormes les Mimosas. Aanrader om te bezoeken is ‘jardin de rayol’ en St Tropez toch ook zeker de moeite waard. Rose-Marie en haar man zijn zeer aardige mensen en geven je het gevoel thuis te zijn. Kortom een aanrader.

Wir haben die Zeit im „Maison Caryatides“ sehr genossen! Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und stilvoll, so dass man sich sofort sehr wohl fühlt, mit vielen Details. Wirklich speziell! Es hat zudem alles, was man braucht - Heizofen für kältere Tage (wir waren in einer Regenwoche im April da) und eine wunderbare Kaffeemaschine und weitere Annehmlichkeiten wie Waschmaschine, viele Schränke, komfortable Regendusche etc. Unsere 2 1/2 jährige Tochter liebte das Kinderzimmer, das mit Spielen und Kindermöbeln liebevoll gestaltet ist, und konnte dort sehr gut schlafen. Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt neben ein paar schönen Boutiquen im Zentrum von Cotignac, es hat viele sehr feine Restaurants und Cafes in nächster Nähe und Silvie kennt die besten Orte. Trotzdem ist es ruhig in der Nacht. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen und hätten auch gut noch länger als 1 Woche dort verbringen können. Vielen Dank!

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Saint Paul de Vence, this is the perfect place! It is incredibly decorated and clean, the host Katie was wonderful, she was so attentive and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! The location is incredible and right next to the famous photo spot in the town. The cleaner was so nice and the little touches she left didn’t go unnoticed. Don’t hesitate to book this for your next trip! You won’t be disappointed

We had a wonderful stay! Marie Agnès was incredibly kind and thoughtful, paying attention to all the little details that made our visit feel extra special. Communication was excellent—always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She was also super helpful with local recommendations, which really added to our experience. Highly recommend!

Vielen Dank, liebe Anne und Nicolas, unsere Woche bei Euch war wunderbar: die Ruhe und der Ausblick, die direkte Nachbarschaft zu Forcalquier und Mane (Salagon, Musée et Jardins!). Wir konnten direkt vom Haus unsere Wanderungen starten. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Stunning property in a superb location with a very attentive host. The 2 parking spaces were an absolute bonus. Having 3 en suite bedrooms was a real treat and the layout of the house was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and will be back again.

Our visit to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence was a dream, and staying in this beautiful house was a big part of what made it so special. The house is immaculate and spacious, with three levels and a lovely rooftop terrace perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. Our bed was super comfy, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need. Some Airbnbs look better in the listings - this place was the very opposite. It’s even lovelier in real life. Jean-Luc and Perrine, artists who run a gallery on the street level, have renovated and decorated the house so tastefully and beautifully. There are art books, antiques, wonderful art and interesting details everywhere - even a record player with a terrific selection of records to enjoy. Lastly, Jean-Luc was an incredible host, giving us recommendations for restaurants and attractions and helping with parking and other logistics. He went above and beyond. We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house and would love to return.

Wow what a dream! Penelope’s place is truly something special, we didn’t want to leave. It is beautifully designed, it has a wonderful location overlooking the water, check-in was easy, beds were comfy. I could really go on and on about how lovely this place is! Don’t hesitate to book, it will make your trip to Marseille feel like a dream.

L’esperienza in questa casa è’ stata la migliore che abbiamo avuto , non solo per la bellezza della casa in sé , ma anche per la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Corinne e suo marito . La casa era perfetta , dotata di tutti i comfort descritti , pulitissima e con abbondanza di asciugamenti per gli ospiti ( bravissimi ) . La pace che si godeva è unica . La piscina riscaldata a 30 gradi un sogno . Super utili i loro consigli su ristoranti e cantine , che vi consigliamo di seguire alla lettera . Absolutely blown away by our stay at this stunning villa in Séguret. The villa is spacious and filled with charm, perfectly nestled in one of the most picturesque villages in Southern France. Our host Jean Luc was incredibly helpful in making recommendations and providing local tips to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. This has been one of the most memorable and magical stays we’ve ever had and we highly recommend this property.

J’ai réservé pour faire un anniversaire surprise en amoureux pour mon copain. La maison est magnifique et bien entretenue, très bien équipée , la literie est parfaite, nous avons eu beau temps donc nous avons pu profiter de la piscine. La vue est à couper le souffle dans toute les parties de la maison. Petit souci de portail du a la coupure de courant quelques jours avant mais Alexandra a été très réactive et a su rectifier le petit bémol. C’est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons passer quelques jours dans cette superbe maison dès que nous en avons l’occasion

What a special place! The house is fully equipped, particularly the kitchen and the living room have all amenities you could imagine. The view is incredible, the outdoor space is gorgeous, the plants are very well kept and the terrace is very spacious. Very clean indoors and outdoors! We enjoyed the projector with the Dolby surround system on the rainy days. There were not many options to eat out or buy groceries/bread within walking distance, so some driving is needed. Marc was also very helpful and fast to respond when we had some issues with the home automation. Overall a wonderful place we hope to come back to again.

We loved staying at Virginie’s place in Menerbes. The view from her home was absolutely spectacular and we wanted to be sure we made it home each evening for an aperitif and snacks on the balcony to watch the sunset. We rented a car and though driving in Menerbes takes a little skill, Virginie was so helpful in getting us through the town and finding parking. Menerbes is very conveniently located to some of the best spots in the Lubéron but is less touristy than many of the other towns so we had a quiet place to come home to. We’d absolutely stay there again!

La villa est une pépite à 5min à pieds du centre ville d'Aix, conforme à la description et aux photos. Les places de parking disponibles sont un gros atout pour une location à plusieurs avec véhicules. L'accueil avec Emma de la conciergerie a été super: amicale, réactive et flexible, ce qui a été très appréciable. Nous reviendrons très certainement !

Edwina’s farmhouse in the French countryside was truly magical a very special place in the heart of the Luberon region. The farmhouse has fantastic views and everything you need for a quiet peaceful relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

„Zuhause bei Freunden“ – genau so hat sich unser Aufenthalt im La Bastidon angefühlt. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns bei Lucas und Elaine rundum willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Ihre Herzlichkeit, Kinderliebe und Gastfreundschaft sind außergewöhnlich. Sie haben ein kleines Paradies geschaffen: ein wunderschönes Anwesen mitten in der Natur, liebevoll eingerichtet und perfekt - bis ins kleinste Detail - ausgestattet – vor allem die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles war blitzsauber, die Betten herrlich bequem. Unsere Kinder wurden mit tollen Spielsachen überrascht, und Elaine hatte stets Zeit, ein offenes Ohr und ein warmes Herz für sie. Der Pool und die Terrassen laden zum Entspannen ein – hier kann man wirklich abschalten und die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir hätten am liebsten verlängert. Diese Unterkunft ist ein echter Herzensort und Lucas und Elaine sind Gastgeber mit ganz viel Seele . Absolute Empfehlung!
