We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This AirBNB property is located in a great location. A short drive to town to enjoy the great restaurants & shopping. A very pleasant view of the water from the porch & dining area. A fantastic kitchen with all of the necessary amenities and a large table. The owner was extremely responsive and attentive to details. The most comfortable beds we have ever experienced! The price was very reasonable. We will definitely be staying at this property again & we are already recommending it to others. I know this may come off as trite or exaggerated but believe me when I say this is hand's down the very best AirBnB experience I've had in the US. Alaska is home for me & I travel all over the state for business. I am accustomed to AK standards for "lovely accommodations" & I am telling you now Amanda (who always responded promptly) & her property far surpass even Anchorage's Hotel Captain Cook. When I booked her pet friendly home I must admit I was a little bit wary expecting there to be a lingering odor of poo or, even worse, urine but such was not the case. Everything in the kitchen is where you'd expect it to be. The setting was a perfect 15min distance from downtown with a small but quality grocery store along the way. The nearby beach is sandy (rare treat in AK) & Ward Lake is nearby offering a wonderfully relaxing stroll as well as giant fireplaces beneath pavilions which allow for enjoyable gatherings in spite of classic Southeast AK Weather. I will definitely return!

A great place to stay right in Craig. Very spacious and it’s awesome to have a washer and dryer available in the rainy weather.

As a regular visitor to the island I think this is one of the best stays. Central to all island services, very tastefully built, outfitted with all the essentials, lots of sleeping area, view of the iconic Klawock River lagoon, high speed internet, etc. Better than represented in the listing for sure. There is a long flight of stairs, but that's the price you pay for the commanding view.

This is a great spot! Very close to the waterfront boardwalk and general store. The house has all of the things you could want for a comfortable stay.

We loved our stay here. We were close enough to Knudson cove for our boat and 10 minute drive into town. Very clean, beds were comfortable after long days of fishing, everything you’d ever need in the kitchen. We had 4 of us, so it was nice having two bathrooms. Huge freezer on the porch for our catch. Amanda was great with communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Very beautiful house, getting to it is a longer but beautiful drive. House was exactly as described and the host(s) were very responsive and accommodating when we had questions and requests. The welcome message was one of the best I’ve seen. Laid out where the house was, what was in the area, when the airport ferry was running. And food options in the area. Will be staying again here in the future

We really enjoyed our stay at Jonathan’s place. The home was beautiful and the locations was great. Jonathan was very helpful and made the whole experience smooth.

Nice to see new appliances, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, shades and furniture. Everything is 5 guys needed.

Book and exhale. This Alaskan retreat was absolutely breathtaking! Nestled amidst stunning natural beauty, the home offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life (we flew in from Seattle to do some fishing for a few days). From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the peaceful surroundings. The home was equipped with everything we needed and more! The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable & the living area provided a relaxing space to unwind after 2 days of fishing for Cohos!! The views from the windows were simply stunning, and we spent countless hours enjoying the tranquility of the Alaskan wilderness. Axel was an exceptional host. He is incredibly friendly, helpful, and just a delight to work with. We will book again for certain! If you need another recommendation - We took our 91 yo mom salmon fishing with a company called Svenson Sportfishing. 🎣 There were 5 of us and we brought 320 lbs of salmon home!

I periodically work in Ketchikan and wanted to show it off to my son and father. This property did not disappoint! I could not believe the view! From sun up to sun down it seemed to get better and better. The house was large, clean, and extremely comfortable! I stayed in the room with the view of the water and left the blinds open to wake up to the sunrise. They thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable. My dad loved all of the driftwood touches which added to the beachy feel. The porch was perfect for playing games, drinking coffee, and having a glass of wine with dinner. I worried about making it up the hill in our low profile rental car-it did fine but required some maneuvering to get up and down it. They did point this out in advance. It is a bit away from town-but in a very good way! Away from cruise ships and crowds and oh so lovely! The pictures don’t do the place justice!
