Vacation rentals in Praia dos Cavacos

Beautiful rental in a beautiful town, right in the heart of Olhão. The cubist-style architecture is such a departure from what we are used to in Canada, the Salt House was like a dream. Everything inside was well organized, thoughtfully contributing to the character of the rental space. The hand-book provided by Tatiana was bursting with useful information and recommendations, leaving no stone unturned. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace, watching flocks of flamingos soar overhead, and the thousands of swifts diving between the buildings. Our only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer.

Came here to work for a few days and had such a lovely stay. Beatriz was really helpful with accommodating our requests which we really appreciated. The location is lovely and quiet, we hired a car and there are lots of nice restaurants a short drive away. We very much enjoyed our short and very peaceful few days of rest, we were only 2 people so plenty of space for us. The accommodation and decor are beautiful and they have clearly thought through everything you might need! Thankyou for a lovely stay!

Hemos reservado una parcela para montar nuestra propia tienda de campaña, era grande y espaciosa. Nos gustó mucho la intimidad y no tener gente muy cerca. La zona es muy buena, cerca de supermercados y playas. Todas las instalaciones estaban limpias y eran cómodas. Sara fue muy amable y atenta. Tardamos un poco más de lo esperado en desmontar la tienda y no tuvo ningún problema en alargar unas horas el check-out. Si tuviera que mejorar algo, quizás sería la iluminación por la noche, unos focos más habrían sido de mucha ayuda. En general la estancia ha sido increíble, repetiremos!

Excellent sejour à Olhao, dans un quartier tres calme, proche des commerces pour des touristes qui ne sont pas motorisés. Avons apprécié la terrasse sur le toit qui nous a permis d'admirer les migrations des flamants roses tous les matins. Appartement très propre, conforme à la description. Il manquait qqs ustensiles de cuisine qui ont été rapidement complétés par notre hôte. Nous reviendrons dans cette belle region de l’Algarve et à notamment Olhao qui nous a conquises.

Wir haben in der Wohnung eine wunderschöne Woche unseres Urlaubs verbracht. Die Wohnung verfügt über alles, was fürs komfortable Wohnen nötig ist. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Wohnung selbst liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Ort, was für uns sehr wichtig war. Wir empfehlen mit einem Auto zu kommen. Dann machen die Ausflüge viel Spaß. Obwohl es Vorort einen kleinen Strand gibt, er kann mit den Inselstränden in Olhao nicht mithalten. Da gibt es vermutlich eine Bankverbindung, allerdings haben wir die nicht benutzt. Es gibt ein Restaurant mit einem Pool direkt gegenüber dem Haus. Da sind wir allerdings auch nicht gewesen. Wir können es leider nicht bewerten. Im Großen und Ganzen war das für uns ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir würden die Wohnung gern weiterempfehlen.

Great communication from the off from Marc. Iryna messaged the week before arrival and the day before just to check in with me for arrival timings. She was such a help on arrival. All the facilities were high quality, and we loved every second of our stay. If you stay here, I’d advise you hire a car as there is not many amenities around. We only had one critisicism of the property and that was that we couldn’t find any waste areas in the area to put our full bin bags in. We are already considering coming again next year. Wir haben mit Karijn und Brian wunderbare, sympathische und hilfsbereite GastgeberInnen kennengelernt und fühlten uns sofort sehr willkommen. In dem sehr schönen Haus Raminhas, sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, mit einem großen Grundstück und sehr schön ange- legtem Garten nahe der beiden Häuser, haben wir uns gut erholt und unsere zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Wir sagen Danke an Karijn und Brian und kommen sehr gern wieder!
