Vacation rentals with lake access in Praia da Galé

We had a great time at Christiane's place! In total, the two of us spent 4 weeks here, worked 2 weeks and took 2 weeks of vacation – both worked out perfectly. Christiane was very considerate of our rest periods, and the Internet was reliable. The apartment is even more beautiful than the pictures: spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room and comfortable bedrooms. The terrace offers a fantastic view of nature. There is an idyllic lake and a yoga platform in the area – perfect for relaxation. Everything was spotlessly clean, and Christiane was a wonderful host – always available, helpful and warm. We will be happy to come back. Thank you!

Really Nice place. Clean, decorated nicely, comfortable. Very friendly host, the lady who let us in absolutely loved our baby and was so sweet with him. Lovely town, and the near islands are gorgeous.

Great Villa for the six people in our party. Well set out with bedrooms at one end moving through to a bright and spacious lounge area with dining table and kitchen off that. Then out onto a covered area outside and then pool and sunloungers. Plenty of space to be together without being cramped. Air con in bedrooms is great. Also good washing machine and additional toilet and shower in outbuilding. Well situated in quiet peaceful area with good supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Very prompt and helpful responses to any enquiries we made. Recommended.

We were warmly welcomed by Isabel, who speaks French well. The accommodation is atypical and has all the comforts you need. We were able to park easily every time we got back from a walk. It is a few meters from the pedestrian streets for shops and restaurants but also from the waterfront, for the boat that takes you to the islands. Regarding the things we liked less, as mentioned in previous comments, the master bedroom has no shutter, just a transparent and most annoying white blind, is, that the neighbor next to an external motion-detection light that illuminates the room at each trigger for 10 seconds, and sometimes, dozens of times in a row, because this gentleman plays on his phone, in front of this lamp, so with each movement, it turns on... The other point that could be improved would be the maintenance of the pool water line, which is green. We took the time to clean up a bit!

Just back from a great week at Casa 38. The place was even better than the pictures and couldnt have asked for much more. The hosts were also really helpful with lots of great, local recommendations. Will definitely be back.

Great place to rest and relax. Calm, very beautiful sounds of birds and other animals. Comfortable house, large rooms and very well equipped.

I've been looking forward to writing this review since we checked in. Catarina and Antonio's house is absolutely amazing. As my wife said when she first saw it, the pictures don't do it justice, it is one of the few places that look even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, amazing land for hiking around the property, extremely peaceful and Antonio was so helpful and responsive at all times. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for peace and quiet but still close enough to all possible amenities. Thank you Catarina and Antonio!

Late arrival, but struggled to make sure we were well looked after. Speaks French fluently. Gave us good recommendations! We sent her some messages during the stay for recommendations and she was always responsive! Flawless accommodation, shared pool but with 2 or 3 accommodations. We were able to go there morning and evening, without anyone! Excellent!!! Thank you

Fantastic little flat walking distance from the old town of Lagos. Very clean and friendly host! Lovely to look onto the harbour and be walking distance from such great places. Would easily return. The flat had everything needed and was bigger than the pictures.

Carla sent detailed instructions for check in which made the process seamless. We loved the space and location, close to walk to downtown but quiet and closer to the beautiful beaches. One of the bathrooms is outside on the porch, but that was fine. My friend left an item behind and Carla was very quick to help ship it on to the next destination which was so appreciated. Would definitely recommend Carla as your host!

Wonderful, bright, super clean apartment with lots of amenities. Across the street from the beautiful marina and boardwalk, and minutes away from restaurants and the infamous Olhão markets.

Very nice stay we felt comfortable and enjoyed the surroundings out of season

Great location, balcony with sea view, modern and tastefully decorated, good kitchen equipment, 2 elevators. The market and all supermarkets are within easy walking distance. Immediately behind the building in which the apartment is located is the old village of Armação de Pêra with numerous cafes and snack bars, where you can participate in Portuguese life among locals and enjoy the relaxed tranquility with coffee and pastel de nata or Pão de Deus. From the apartment to the beach with numerous fishing boats and the tourist gastronomy it is only 100 meters, so top location! Communication with Vanessa was very warm, upon our arrival there was a bottle of wine as well as jam, nut-nougat cream, capsules for the coffee maker, vinegar, oil, salt etc. at the table. A service we have rarely experienced and we have been to the Algarve very often. It couldn't have been better. Thanks for the hospitality! I would be happy to come back.

Pedro's place was really cozy, me and my friend really enjoyed our stay. At the place we stayed at a few days before we were freezing at night, so it was so amazing to finally be at an airbnb where the heater and air conditioning work properly! We could adjust the temperature easily anytime with a remote. All instructions were super clear because of the app / website link that has all the details in one place. Also, Pedro checked in multiple times just in case we have any questions or need help and is super responsive. This airbnb is only a few minutes away from various restaurants and a beautiful beach which is super convenient. There is also a supermarket right next door. Thank you so much Pedro for making our stay so comfortable!

Lovely spacious apartment with 3 balconies and air conditioning in bedroom and living room. Everything is available, including a washing machine. Very nice shower. Sofa in the living room is fine as a sofa bed. We got 1 set of towels and that's a little for 1 week. On request, however, we immediately received a 2nd set. Thanks again for that. Very friendly host who responds quickly. Alhoa is lovely and we have enjoyed the ferry, islands and trips to Faro and Tavira. Super nice holiday!

This apartment has a terrace with a wonderful view of the coast and beach. It is in a quiet area but within walking distance to Old Town. There is a very nice market also within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need for an extended stay.

Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

To use just one word to describe Jan home: wonderful! If you are looking for a peaceful place, close to nature and away from busy cities then this is your place to stay. It has everything you'll need and perhaps Jan you'll do his best for more if needed. To us, his home was a piece of heaven and it did reminded me of my grandparents place when I was a young and spend the time summer holidays with them. Here you have orange trees and all you have to do is to pick one or two and enjoy them. Oh, I shall not forget Odin (the Cat). He gave us a big welcome in the first day but because we made the mistake not to allow her inside he completly ignored us during the stay. We had the 2nd chance on the last day when he joins us a for a breakfast! :-) Things to mention: you'll need a car (not a low small car but rather a mini SUV perhaps) as it's not close to a bus or train routes. Good Wifi receptions. We will return for sure as there is so much to see around. Thank you Jan for hospitality!

We had a wonderful time at Jan's place. The garden with natural pool are laid out with great effort and care and prepare a unique experience in quiet nature. This place is excellent for just unwinding for a few days and experiencing the beautiful hinterland of the Algarve. Thank you!

What a special place! In the mountains and so beautiful. Jacqueline and her family were really nice and generous with their time. Definitely would come back again.
