Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Powell County

I booked this place for my climbing club for our spring break climbing trip to red river gorge. We had seven people stay in the house and there was plenty of space for everyone. It was a really nice and cozy place to stay and very affordable which was a huge plus for us because we were all college students. There were no problems with staring here and we had no complaints. This place definitely deserves five stars.

Leah’s property was fantastic! Great price and lovely! Comfy everything! Nice cute place close to many outdoor activities. I personally loved the animals n the neighborhood!

I loved staying at their place. Next time I know to go shopping BEFORE getting there. It’s literally so out there it’s amazing. My kids Had such a blast on the swings , the trampoline and all the other amenities. It was so relaxing for them to get a break from tech and just enjoy the outdoors. There was a lot of dog hair which stired up some of our kiddos breathing issues but other than that. It was AMAZING STAY. We can’t wait to come back❤️🥰

Our family had a wonderful stay here in Kentucky! There was so much to do for all the kids (of various ages) and grown-ups alike! There were many thoughtful touches throughout the home and loads of entertainment/ recreation options in the garage. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and the beds were super comfortable. Lots of nearby outdoor hiking trail options and close grocery for stocking up for our stay. Everyone had a great stay. Also, the host was quick to respond and helpful when I had questions or needed help! Highly recommend this location!

Everything was great. If you have an issue with your key fob, I beleive it is just the power lines. Try standing 2-5 feet from your vehicle to lock and unlock. Not a deal breaker and if you park in the garage you should be fine.

We had an amazing stay at this house in Red River Gorge over spring break. The property was clean and beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing family vacation. There was plenty of space for all six of us, and the layout worked perfectly for us to hang out and have quiet downtime. The location couldn’t have been better—it is close to all the trails, activities, and natural beauty the Gorge offers, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and privacy. We love the outdoor space, especially the back deck—perfect for sunsets and family meals. We’d come back in a heartbeat. We highly recommend it to families exploring Red River Gorge!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here, it’s a duplex but practically soundproof to the connecting unit. It was very clean and smelled nice upon arrival. Good water pressure in shower, very hot water so be careful. Nice to be able to walk to town and get a bite to eat or go to Kroger. Thanks you!

What an adorable and cozy apartment. Ellen was kind enough to accommodate a very late check-in and even left lights on so we didn’t have to enter a dark apartment. That was very much appreciated. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Super comfortable beds, hot water and good water pressure, safe neighborhood. My daughter and I took a walk around the area and downtown and felt very safe. Her gardens make it feel like you are in this little oasis away from everything. Very peaceful and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Ellen’s place.

Great deal for everything you get, we wanted a quiet weekend before holiday craziness started and it was exactly what we wanted! The hosts were so helpful and clear and quickly responded to questions. We hope to come back in the summer time!

We had a wonderful stay! The space was spotless, quiet, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—close enough to explore Lexington, Berea, and Red River Gorge, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to downtown restaurants like Millstone Social, Apollo's Pizza, and Purdy's Coffee. Everything was exactly as described, and we truly felt at home. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area!

Great host for Easter week with our family. We even cooked a ham to take for the dinner. Clean, refreshing cute place that we would definitely stay again.

This place worked great for what we needed spending the weekend at Hollerwood. It fit 6 of us just fine. I wasn't aware it was a shared property and there's not much privacy with the large glass garage door. It wasn't a huge problem, but something to be aware of. I would stay again.
