If you appreciate authenticity, a change of scenery and calm are guaranteed in this traditional home. It is not a converted cellar but a real dwelling dug into the hillside and inhabited for more than three centuries. Furnished while keeping the original materials as much as possible, it is a cozy and warm nest with a nice enclosed garden, close to amenities. Summer and winter the temperature is pleasant, with or without heating (very efficient) depending on the needs of the weather.

The cottage is completely renovated and combines modern comfort with the authenticity of the dwelling in the rock. Today we invite you to share these unusual but so attractive living spaces.

Atypical experience - Windmill near Beauval

Charming cottage for this old 17th century windmill tastefully restored, built on a large fenced garden and decorated with a shaded terrace. In the building, you will find the entrance-kitchen on the ground floor (including, among other things, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove, Senseo coffee machine). On the first floor, a pleasant living room (large screen TV and sofa bed), then a master bedroom on the second floor, with toilet and shower area.

Our cave house is located on the edge of Loches, with a great view of the castle, a private terrace and a barbecue; it can accommodate a couple and possibly two children. Very close to the city center, you can leave your car in the small private parking lot and do everything on foot (10 minutes from the city center). You can also discover magnificent sites: Amboise, Chenonceau, Beauval Zoo, Montrésor… We offer, when we can, breakfast on the 1st day.

The Cave of Moulin de la Motte Baudoin

Welcome to the Grotte du Moulin! This natural loft is embedded in a limestone mound and will surprise you with its irregularity. It consists of a large kitchen open to the living room and a bedroom with bathroom separated by a sliding garage door. In the bedroom, you have a double bed (160 cm) and in the living room a single bed (90 cm) with a non-convertible sofa that can be used as a small bed.

The residence of les Caves Archées is situated in the village of Bourré within close proximity of Montrichard in the Cher Valley. The house and flat attached are perched on elevated grounds with a very beautiful view of the valley. The property is set amongst vineyards and forest above and a park below it. This position makes the location of the house a haven of peace and tranquillity.

Our cottage is an old barn from the 19th century. It consists inside of a single volume, with a mezzanine bedroom. Its decor seems like a nod to the surrounding castles. We are located between Montrichard and Saint-Aignan , and you are about fifteen kilometers from the Chateau de Chenonceaux and the Beauval Zoo. (We do not provide linens.
