Our Mongolian-style yurt is 200 sq. feet with a full bed, solar shower(summer), pop-up private flushing poddie, hammock, fan, lights, wood stove (winter), grill and fire pit. You are close to the Brew Ridge trail, wineries, breweries, skiing at Wintergreen, Blue Mountain Brewery, Devil's Backbone, golf, hiking, or driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hike directly from the Yurt up into the mountains!

Yurt in the woods - 15 min. to Staunton & Polyface

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Large deck where you can eat, drink, see the trees, and hear the little Middle River rolling by. The yurt is large (for a yurt!) - 30' wide with a small but full kitchen. There's a new queen bed in the main living area, a double bed in a small bedroom, and a queen mattress in the loft. The mini-split for AC and heat works well but the loft can still get very warm when it's really hot out. Cell phones work, but there is no internet or TV.

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.

Come enjoy country living in beautiful western Albemarle county. Our yurt is on a 13 acre property on a quiet country road. (My husband and I also have our home about 200 ft away from yurt). The yurt features a relaxing outdoor claw foot tub/shower with beautiful country views. The private bathroom is situated on the deck of the yurt. The pool is a shared space directly behind our home. The wooded part of the property is private with a beautiful walking trail for you to enjoy.
