This was the third time we rented the Black House and it's starting to feel like a home away from home. Proximity to the cross country ski trails is fantastic and the house is spotless, cozy and the kitchen is well stocked! Stéphanie is incredibly responsive to all messages and very friendly in all communications. highly recommend!!!!!

We loved our stay at Lise’s space. Plenty of room and in a quiet neighborhood. Located away from the busy city area yet a very short and inexpensive uber ride into the heart of the city. We even walked back a couple of times in the evening it was close enough. Highly recommended staying here.

Strong recommendation! Isabelle's cottage, a converted schoolhouse, is charming, peaceful, and comfortable. The house is extraordinarily well-appointed, with everything you need, particularly in the kitchen. The back patio is a serene place to have a coffee, watch the birds, and enjoy the view over the empty fields. You will need a car. We drove to Québec one day and Ile d'Orleans the next - it's about 45 minutes to each.

A delightful mix of old house (hand-hewn beams and squared-off logs for walls) with new renovations (modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, very clean, etc.). The neighborhood is not particularly beautiful, but we were looking for proximity to the Mont St. Anne xc ski trails and this home is perfectly located for that, along with a small grocery store and gas station a couple hundred meters away. It is both cozy and comfortable, and we will gladly come back again, potentially with other family friends as the house has three apartments and would easily house a large number of people. We had a very pleasant three weeks at our host's. She is extremely kind, discreet and always smiling, and we enjoyed chatting with her a lot. The suite is comfortable, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The garden is beautiful, a real peaceful little haven. And special mention for his cat Billy, absolutely adorable! Thanks again for this great stay 😊

A lovely place to enjoy peaceful time with family or friends! We stayed in early June, and the neighborhood was beautifully green and picturesque. The home offers a stunning view of the hills and is tucked away in a quiet, private area. It was clean and well-equipped with almost all the amenities we needed. Marie was very helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more comfortable. Conveniently located about 30 minutes from Old Quebec and Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, we had the chance to explore both the city and the national park. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay in this house ideally located to discover the Mauricie Park. The host was very responsive and warm, which immediately made us feel comfortable. It feels like home! The garden and veranda are real assets: perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. A very nice place that we highly recommend!

Clean space as described within walking distance to all Quebec City attractions. Parking spot is small so we opted to leave the car in the garage and take Ubers or walk to the Old City. I think overall good value compared to staying in a hotel, however be aware there is a homeless shelter one block away where a number of homeless people are milling about on the sidewalk so walking home at night from the wrong direction was a little sketchy. Not a problem for four adults but not ideal if traveling with small children in my opinion.

Perfect location for enjoying nature- lovely views of the river from the house and close to major hiking and biking (in the snow too) trails at Vallee Bras du Nord. Very private. Exceptionally quiet especially in the falling snow. Home is comfortable and warm with huge windows on main levels. Lower level is good for kids or people who don’t want windows. Great outdoor spaces - deck, fire pit. Three types of coffee makers plus a milk frother - made our mornings happy. Good WiFi. Tried the TVs but could not get things to stream - but computers worked for streaming. Maybe was user error. Not lots of storage space on main level for our “big American bags” (we don’t travel light in the winter, need gear!) but huge room on lower level for wet boots, equipment, etc. Snowshoes/poles provided -very helpful. Very helpful hosts (we had lots of questions). One of the nicer AirBnBs we’ve used - both house and location. If you are seeking a remote trip to nature, it’s perfect.

The cottage was absolutely perfect! We were there as a family, and all the amenities largely met our expectations. It is super well-equipped and above all has an incomparable warm charm. It felt like home! The wooden pontoon is an incredible asset. We will undoubtedly be back. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful place. Quiet and well-equipped. We were able to have an early check-in which greatly improved our short one-night stay for the Pont-Rouge festival which is less than 20 minutes away by vehicle. We will come back for the next editions and enjoy the pool/spa a little more and maybe the adjacent golf course.

The location of the cottage as well as the layout of it was exceptional! To visit!
