House vacation rentals in Portland

We had a lovely stay at Lorraine’s for a ladies weekend away. The house is enormous with 3 huge living areas. The beds were comfortable. My sister had to bring her baby and Lorraine arranged for a highchair to be dropped off. The bbq was a bit worn out but the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful weekend, fantastic house for large groups.

We loved our last-minute stay at Chris and Sue’s, and will definitely be back. Fantastic living spaces, room to spend together or have some time apart 😜 Even in the freezing winter rain, the backyard was a hit with the kids. Gym space and board games were a super-bonus. Wonderful to have a kitchen with all the tools and bits and pieces you need to get a meal on the table like you’re at home - while the deep bath, fluffy towels, and comfy beds felt like we were at a luxury hotel. Can’t wait to return!

The property has amazing views and if you are lucky you can catch the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Right across from the beach the house was fully equipped and had everything you would need and more. The jacuzzi was great after a long day at the beach. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Tracey’s place. Only a short drive in to town. Super comfy beds, great shower pressure, nice and clean had everything we need!

From the moment I booked Mel’s lovely home, she was responsive & so friendly. Very clear instructions & once we arrived we were blown away with how beautifully clean & neat the house was. We had a wonderful stay, location was great & we felt right at home :) Thanks so much Mel ❤️

Great stay at short notice!

Longmeadow is simply stunning. The perfect location, the accomodation gives such a homey feeling and is elegant and welcoming. The gardens and beach within walking distance is incredible. Such wonderful hosts, and cannot wait to return again one day!

We had a great stay — the place was exactly as described. We had 8 of us in town for a fishing charter, and the house was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, homely, and communication was easy throughout. The games room was definitely a highlight and provided plenty of entertainment. Would happily stay again!

Jenni is the best host—we truly enjoyed our stay! Cape Bridgewater is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, and this property is absolutely wonderful. It was peaceful and relaxing; we’re leaving feeling delighted.

We spent a couple of nights at Richard and Elisha’s cottage on our way home to Melbourne from Adelaide. It felt a bit like being in the outback, with the sound of surf on the beach not far away. It’s ’rustic chic’ or similar. Everything we needed was there, comfy bed, good aircon (it was hot!) inc a welcome bottle of wine. Only 20kms to Portland and similar distance to BudjBim NP. No pub or cafés close, so take what you need for breakfast etc. Thanks for having us.

We had a wonderful stay during the King's Birthday Long Weekend. The cottage is just the right size, comfortable, and spacious. The place can be warmed up quickly with a heater and the split system, and the shower was just the right warm temperature. The kitchen is a fully functional space, where we cooked a wonderful dinner with fresh seafood from the Seafood Shop in Portland. The mattress in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable; we had deep and relaxing sleeps over the weekend. We loved the property and will stay at the cottage again soon.

The location was perfect, we walked everywhere. A supermarket around the corner we didn’t go without. The hot springs a must, to experience,a 25 minute walk but we took a taxi. We walked to the break water on the beach, found the best view across the bay and fabulous coffee. Every person we interacted with where so pleasant, that make our holiday extra special. Bree and Matthew deserve high praise for the way they maintain and present Lawson’s on Lava. Location is excellent. Parking space out the back great for unloading. Inside, the renovated bathroom and kitchen are spotless, brand new tapware and tiling. The heating and split system keep everything comfortable. The carpets were new and recently vacuumed, the beds were clean and well covered. But we loved the attention to detail. All the small stuff you need is there. And a small booking issue was taken care of quickly with no fuss. Bree was responsive and happy to help. A really great experience all around.

House was absolutely perfect. The cleanest and most well equipped house we’ve stayed in. Had everything we needed and more.

The place is great and luxury but I was expecting a wooden look house instead of white color I think the host did some painting on the house,hence the looks was totally different with what we expecting. Some bulbs is out of service hence some portion of the house a bit too dark for us!but overall is great!

We loved the location, great to sit on the deck or in the living area and being able to see the water. The house is very well equipped in all of kitchen, bathroom, laundry. The interior has been renovated tastefully and in keeping with its coastal location. The location is a very easy short drive into the town centre and walkable if you don’t mind a bit of a walk. We would certainly stay there again.

This is a lovely cottage that’s spotlessly clean and well set up. Everything was well maintained and you could walk to the beach and the shops and restaurants which was great!
