If your experience is the same as ours, we are already happy to have been at our house. Nothing better than being in the backyard with family and friends chatting away even with bugs and insects around us but in a quiet environment where nothing is heard but ourselves. The best thing is the terrace, where we can see the plain and the whole village but nobody sees us. Get ready because in summer there is nothing more scorching than the Alentejo heat but nothing that a few extra fans can't solve!!

cosy well-equipped village home facing a garden with a large variety of plants, where a well and a garden bench engraved with antique tiles are prominent features. Walking/cycling to the lake or contemplating the starlight skies at night are exhilarating experiences. Ideal for long-term stays for anybody wanting a quiet place to work. Good wi-fi. I live with 2 cats in the studio with the entrance door via the garden which I look after but leave to private use of guests. Other pets are welcome.

Monte da Luz is 4 km from the village of Alqueva by dirt road, 6 km from the Alqueva river beach. The map of the location of the Monte da Luz that appears does not exactly match your location, because there is no official address that defines it. That's why our tax address is at the Parish Council of Alqueva. So when a guest wants to book a reservation, ask us for your GPS location so you can know exactly where it is.

Beach Houses - C. da Amieira

Casas da Praia, are a set of two houses that are rented as one. In this house you will find a T1 and a T0. The two houses have air conditioning, internet, pallet salamander and independent bathrooms. You can sleep comfortably 6 people. In the outdoor area of the house you will find a fantastic swimming pool and sun loungers. It is a minute walk to the river beach of Amieira, just go down the street.

Casa Grande - Amieira Houses

This little getaway is a mobile house we have in our backyard. With a maximum capacity of 6 people, it is ideal for spending a few days with family/friends. It has 3 bedrooms, living room/ kitchen and 2 toilets. The house is meters from the river beach, so you can walk. Pets are welcome, but only in the outdoor space.
