Vacation rentals with lake access in Évora District

we had a great rest from the long move. the view from the kitchen window to the green hills and meadows is simply charming, it is especially pleasant to open the window and admire the opening landscapes over morning coffee.

We loved our 5 day stay at Casa do Jardim! The home is clean, attractive and has high quality appliances and accessories. The peaceful location is soul-mending. There are even sheep grazing nearby! This is a secluded and private place to spend a restful holiday. Tiago is extremely helpful and made wonderful recommendations of nearby points of interest and restaurants.

Two days well spent in Amieira. Unique space with 2 houses that converge in a patio with a swimming pool. It may be a little shallow (1.55m) for playing with children, but it is highly refreshing on hot days in the Alentejo. Great stay!

A beautiful apartment, decorated with artistic and eclectic taste. The outdoor space was an extra surprise, and was a peaceful spot to relax. Susie and Jorge were excellent hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would return.

This house was just the right size for a small family getaway in one of the most beautiful regions of Alentejo. Located in the charming and typically Portuguese village of Motrinos—where time seems to slow down—it offers the perfect base to explore the area’s stunning landscapes and rich gastronomic culture. From São Lourenço do Barrocal, just minutes away, to nearby towns known for their historical landmarks, renowned restaurants, and excellent wine cellars, everything is within easy reach. The house itself features a refreshing small pool, a well-equipped BBQ for enjoying local produce, and a laid-back atmosphere that invites you to truly unwind. As locals, we found the experience to be authentically Portuguese—relaxing, flavorful, and deeply satisfying.

Very cosy space even more beautiful and better decorated than in the photographs and with a great view of the balcony. 5/10 minutes from the river beach, located in a very welcoming village Thank you José and Natália for the experience we hope to return soon :)

A century-old house, very well remodeled and preserved. Close to services, restaurants, historic area and river beach. Lots of activities to choose from. Excellent contact with the host, very available and friendly. Great for a few days with family or friends, given the number of beds. We will want to repeat ☺️

exceptional place, we were very well received and all the services far exceeded what is represented by the photos. We found it very easily thanks to the good directions, Miguel is a particularly friendly and welcoming host. No worries about the car which is parked on the property. We were really very well with superb sunset views☀️, we were able to chat with him despite the language barrier, in short it was wonderful

We recommend the stay as the house is very well equipped, very quiet area and has everything needed for a great vacation. The location is great for those who want to enjoy the wonderful river beaches of Alqueva, especially Azenhas d'el Rei and Mourão or get lost in one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal, Monsaraz.

The property is situated in a quiet location. At first I was concerned about the church directly opposite but the carillon is pleasant and does not disturb. Daniel is a friendly and helpful host. In the apartment there is everything you need for a stay and also the kitchen is fully equipped my lasagna was no problem 😉 There are many free parking spaces for the rental car on the street in front of the property. For shopping you have to go to the neighboring village but the supermarket there has everything you need. would love to come back.

Lovely flat in a great location.

Spacious villa with a private pool in a quiet, green setting. The house is well-equipped and offers a lot of privacy, with a beautiful outdoor area and even some horses nearby. You can occasionally hear a train pass by, but it’s not too disruptive. Comfortable bed and a great place to relax, just a bit outside the city. Can recommend!

A pleasent 15 minute drive out of Elvas brings you to the ridge line on which the few dozen houses of the village of Juromenha resides, adjacent to the imposing Fortress Juromenha. You drop down off the ridge towards the river Guadiana to arrive at Casa de Juromenha and its tranquil rural setting nestled between an olive grove and the the fortress. Behind the hedge lies a beautful traditional style building with a country garden, manicured lawn and an aquamarine pool facing the river. The room was beautiful, traditional and the decor has been done with passion and talent. We wanted for nothing and loved our time here, we thoroughly enjoy walking around the Fortress and a meal the local bar Pata Larga. For a country get away it has been outstanding for us. Alandroal, Villa Vicosa and the Marble area are all interesting visits from this idyllic base.

Very nice stay, very sunny. Lake nearby to cool off very pleasantly, with beautiful sunset over the olive trees. Very nice rustic house, full of charm, very well equipped. Patricia, the host is very welcoming and very available. Thank you.

Lovely location! I was extremely happy because the beds were very comfortable. I loved the layout of the place as well. Very close to some awesome restaurants and many other great spots to visit in the area.

Excellent stay in this typical Alentejo house. The natural pool is a real plus in this area given the hot weather in the summer. We will definitely come back!

I travelled with my family of 4 to Maria’s. The property is a dream, we stayed in Casa das Alcachofras. The attention to detail, the comfortability and quietness, we loved our time there and will definitely come back!! Thank you Maria for being such a great host.
