Vacation rentals in Portalegre District

The house was very clean and had lots of space. Some of the beds were very firm so we did have to trade rooms with one of our kids for a softer mattress. Overall a great house with plenty to explore in the area. Went to the local cheese shop and got great sight seeing recommendations from the worker. The Marble Museum had cool sculptures and info about the local areas history in extracting marble. The pool is not heated and was a little chilly in late September, but the kids still had fun.

Uma casa excelente, num sítio ermo mas cheio de encantos! Uma ribeira perto de casa onde os cães se podem molhar, uma barragem na herdade, pão maravilhoso, pessoas prestáveis e simpáticas que facilitaram tudo…. Um sítio a voltar!! Viajamos com dois cães de grande porte que foram aceites sem vacilar, fomos mimados e passamos uns dias memoráveis. Sobre a casa… linda! Rústica, bem enquadrada, confortável, limpa, bem equipada. Uma verdadeira pérola a descobrir. Obrigada Patricia e restantes colegas…. Bem hajam!

Logement très agréable, bien aménagé et très propre. Le propriétaire est vraiment très gentil et disponible. La piscine est juste magnifique. Nous avons fait beaucoup de bnb et celui-ci est le meilleur que nous ayons loué. Merci à Pierre pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et sa bienveillance

Apenas temos dois reparos a fazer: a zona das refeições é muito pequena. A cozinha é exígua para um grupo como o nosso. As 22 pessoas que compunham o grupo tinham muita dificuldade em preparar refeições porque não cabiam mais de 3 pessoas na cozinha. Também não havia pratos, copos e chávenas suficientes, se tivermos em conta que a lotação máxima é para 24 pessoas. Consequentemente, o espaço para as refeições também não dava para as 22 pessoas ao mesmo tempo. O outro reparo tem a ver com a potência da electricidade que não é suficiente e, quando usávamos mais aparelhos na cozinha, o quadro ia abaixo. Mas, de resto, tudo excelente e a comunicação com os responsáveis foi sempre muito boa e rápida.

We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

The little house is lovely - warm and homely. It is well furnished with a good hot shower and good water pressure. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of extra blankets (we came in the cold season). Parking is right outside the door and the back garden has a covered area as well as a direct sun area- chairs table and sun beds. There is a small laundry, lines and pegs. We would thoroughly recommend.

Deze accommodatie kunnen we zeker aanbevelen! Het is een charmant huisje dat deel uitmaakt van een oud klooster. We vonden er alles waar we naar op zoek waren: een weelderige tuin met fruitbomen waarvan we mochten plukken, een open haard, een goed uitgeruste keuken en een terras met bbq. Miranda ontving ons hartelijk en heeft het huisje met zorg ingericht, er ontbrak niets. Bedankt voor deze ervaring Miranda!
