A treat for us, as nature lovers. Super value for two people. We loved lounging on the deck in the breeze watching birds and the endless movement of leaves in the trees - just what was needed as this was our 'micro-holiday' and we were frazzled after a cross country drive! Charlotte was brilliant at explaining what we might need before we knew we needed it. Loved walking the short forest paths. It was Stage 6 load-shedding and a mega heatwave, so it was very hot with no fans - but nothing really seemed to matter! Thank you, we'd come back.

I would give Justins place 10 stars if I could...it was absolutely amazing especially with the breathtaking seaview. The house is very spacious and the pool is just a bonus. our kids really enjoyed the getaway and didnt want to leave. Justin was absolutely awesome, he is a very good host and what was great about him is he replies really quick. And Yvette was absolutely amazing, she was there if ever we needed to find out anything, she is very kind and caring even towards kids. My kids adored her. This home is value for money. We will definitely go back when we get a chance. i would highly recommend.

A little piece of heaven. Right on the beach - it’s surreal. Lots of space to grab a quiet moment or converge together over a meal with the sea as a backdrop. The house has everything you need and more. Thomas is quietly unobtrusive and very efficient at looking after the house and comfort of the guests. Highly recommended.

We had an awesome stay at Shale Beach House. It has everything you need; you don't have to drive anywhere. It is such a peaceful private area; the sea is literally on your doorstep. We loved the jacuzzi bath, jacuzzi and rim flow pool and the permanent ice maker, but there is so many things that make it comfortable to stay in! Wilson was a delight to deal with, had a really easy check in, he always around if you need anything. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nelius for opening up your beautiful home!

very big house that allows you to your space and feel at home . town is near everything is near so no need to stress on anything that is missing. I went there with my crew and the guys loved how quite and free spirited the area is . we had fun and Im surely coming back

This home is so utterly beautiful, we didn't want to leave, extremely beautiful and such a lovely feeling about it. The furnishings and details in every corner you look kept us inspired and very happy to be there. Well stocked with everything your heart could desire. We will be back very soon! Thank you for a beautifully tranquil stay in your spotless clutter-free apartment. From the point of view of having our dog with us, it really gave us peace of mind to have the entire outside area enclosed. We stayed for 9 days, and we felt that the bar fridge was a bit small for an extended stay. For a short stay it would have been perfect. The forest setting was truly an exquisite experience!

It is a beautiful place. The walk to the beach is about 3 minutes and wildcoast is about 10 minutes away. It is a nice getaway and definitely worth the price.

My family and I had the most amazing stay in this house! Trust me when I say the picture don’t do justice to when you walk in! The views are amazing the rooms and furniture are spacious and comfy! Its all you want from a holiday home! The host ( Melissa ) was super accommodating, even making sure our little puppies enjoyed their holiday by securing the gate! This is absolute value for money and I already miss it so so much! The house is warm and cozy and instantly makes you feel on holiday when you walk in! Could not have asked for anything better!

Beautiful house well equipped and situated walking distance from beach. Magical garden with stunning pool and braai area. We enjoyed the pizza oven. Beautiful rooms with a sea. Squeaky clean bathrooms with luxurious linen. Beautiful kitchen with state of the art fridge and coffee machine. All you meed is in this kitchen. Gracious host that checked in on us and provided all info. Staff on the premises are fantastic. Dog friendly fenced property, beaches and restaurants. We loved every second and will be back. We had a wonderful stay in Munster in this beautiful home. Lyzette was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The house was clean and spacious with a great entertaining area and a beautiful garden. It was very peaceful and private. The house is a short walk away from Aunty's Bay which is a quiet beach with places to swim and rocks to explore. We also enjoyed the pool on hot days. Excellent location. Thanks Lyzette we had a fantastic time and will definitely recommend the place to others - and hope to return ourselves!

We had an amazing stay in this cozy home. It is basic, but really well equipped (aircons in all rooms and the dishwasher were great!)- and the best part is the direct access to a beautiful beach. We mostly had the beach completely to ourselves and managed to catch 2 large Cob from the beach which we enjoyed on the braai. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing was magical. We weren't too sure about the safety of the general area, but felt safe in the home which has an alarm system and beams (and a remote is supplied with a panic button). Our dogs loved the large garden and also had the best time on the beach. There is a small section of the garden which is not securely fenced (bottom left), but the bush is so thick there and served as an adequate barrier for our dogs. We will 100% be back and recommend this place to anyone wanting a home away from home at the beach!

Absolutely lived our stay here. Felt like you were on the beach always, could hear the ocean the whole day. The house beautiful and well equipped, clean and just leaves you feeling relaxed. Walking distance to a swim-beach, and if you walk a bit further past the lagoon, beautiful rock pools where we spent hours looking at the fish and even met a resident octopus that we saw every day. It even get my teenagers stamp of approval and they said they would live to go back again. Really worth a visit!

Lovely peaceful upstairs accommodation, with a great viewing deck/patio area. Kitted out with all the basics you need for a kovely beach holiday. Attentive available host. Dogs loved it and would have moved in permanently downstairs if given half the chance.

Had a lovely restful holiday. Terry's home was a major contributor to this. She was very accommodating and helpful and provided us with a wonderful holiday space! Her home is very welcoming, there is plenty of space and plenty of room for the kids to do what they need to. The addition of a wonderful pool made for a great space to relax. Thanks Terry!

There aren’t enough stars to rate this place! Simone has been absolutely amazing—so warm, kind, and hospitable. The experience was truly on another level and felt like a real home away from home. Even though the pool wasn’t heated, it didn’t take away from how incredible the holiday was. With the beach, shops, and restaurants all so close by, this has been one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. We’re definitely coming back again!

Beautiful views of the sea and private beach nestled in the reserve. We enjoyed being close to the beach for walks with our dogs. Exceptionally peaceful and comfortable. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful. Despite very rainy weather for a number of days we did get out about in the area for some recommended activities. We can highly recommend this property.

Thank you for making our wonderful holiday possible. The weather played along well, we visited the beach every day and the fishing was good. Your house immediately became our home, where great memories were made. The whole family: ourselves, son, daughter, their companions, grandma and our furry friend were all comfortably accommodated. The reserve water supply was a life-saver and the safe and secure environment made our stay relaxed and so much more enjoyable. This is a gem of a place. We would love to do this again as soon as possible.
