Another wonderful stay here, we stayed here for years ago for our wedding anniversary and stayed again for our fourth anniversary. The little gifts on arrival are a nice touch! It is such a nice and peaceful stay surrounded by all of their animals in the adjoining fields. We cannot wait to come back again!

We certainly did find our place to call home. The home is stunning both inside and out - immaculately kept, very comfortable and extremely well-appointed. Faith is the perfect host and we were surprised and wowed by the extra little touches such as milk in the fridge, a loaf of bread, selections of tea/coffee, spreads and also some special treats - very generous. This will definitely be our come-to place next time we visit Mt Gambier. Worth more than 5 stars!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit. The location is perfect — convenient and close to everything we needed. Unfortunately, we made a few mistakes during our stay, including entering the check-in information incorrectly and not sorting the rubbish properly. We also accidentally left behind some clothing, which caused a bit of inconvenience. Despite this, the host was very understanding and even offered to help us resolve the issues. We truly appreciate his patience and support. We strongly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area — you’ll be in great hands with such a thoughtful and responsible host. Thank you again for everything!

We loved staying here with our 2 small kids (6,4). Natasha is a really thoughtful and generous host who provided everything we needed, and more. Having all the amenities (including a washer and dryer, dishwasher, oven, full size fridge) was so handy, plus a few games and toys for the kids, and many local recommendations for food and activities for families. We all had a lovely time and would definitely come back. I adored the bee-themed decor as well, really cosy.

We had a wonderful stay in Mount Gambier at Matthew and Tammy‘s listing. The house was a wonderful size with a generous backyard which was wonderful as we have a very small dog. Excellent communication with our hosts and lovely bedding and facilities. They even left us a small Easter gift which was very appreciated. Could not ask for better hosts.

The Hideout is the perfect getaway for a couple. It has a cozy, snug, welcoming feel with its layout and well chosen decor. The Hideout had all of the amenities needed, from an adequately equipped kitchen with modern appliances to a bathroom that made showering something to look forward to with its ample space and skylight providing views of the stars or clear blue sky, depending on the time of day. Wow—what an absolute gem in Mount Gambier! This is hands down the most beautifully renovated abode I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, blending modern luxury with timeless charm. From the high-end finishes to the cozy, stylish furnishings, it felt more like a boutique retreat than a typical Airbnb. Kate went above and beyond with the amenities—breakfast provisions were generously stocked, including coffee, tea, hot coco, fresh milk, bread, spreads, and cereals, all waiting for us in the kitchen. It was such a thoughtful touch & made our mornings easy and enjoyable. One of the standout features for families was the second lounge room, which was fully decked out with toys, games, and books—an absolute haven for our daughter. It gave her her own space to play and unwind, and it gave us a moment to relax too! If you’re heading to Mount Gambier, do yourself a favor and stay here. It’s a truly special place and perfect for families/couples.

Didnt want to leave. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. While the place wasnt perfect, the things that generally matter were. Every creature comfort of home was there. The beach is a short stroll or even shorter drive. The neighbours and general community are friendly. The area is quiet and the stars are very bright. Rooms are all bigger than expected. Biggest negative was the pump which was very loud in the bedroom with the triple bunk bed, but we all slept through it running no problems.

We couldn’t recommend Jes’s place highly enough! It’s such a beautiful house, really well set up for a family reunion weekend away, super clean and Jes had included so many lovely touches like Easter eggs for the kids and lots of lovely bits for breakfast.
