We enjoyed our time at Marshmallow Home. The game room were children’s heaven and the little touch of leaving the marshmallow jar definitely has won the kids over. I think it was excellent value for money considering how beautiful, the location was and the thought that went into the Boho Tenting experience. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful and we felt incredibly welcome. From wine at night to coffee and croissants in the morning, it is an experience I will look back on fondly. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of our stay was the chance to interact with the two adorable dogs, Archie and Pepper. They were incredibly friendly and playful, and they made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether it was playing fetch or just relaxing with them, their company added an extra layer of warmth to the experience. The host was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the lovely animals and cozy accommodation, made for a perfect getaway. I would definitely love to return in the future! Well stocked, very clean, mod cons, spacious rooms and bedrooms. Lots of boatd games, DVD's, books and magazines etc. Megan's communication was very prompt and was very accommodating. The surrounds were very peaceful , in particular the lovely pine forest trails. Lots of kangaroos around yard and in reservoir which was lovely. Unfortunately due to dry summer the resorvoir area in front of house didn't have water and water levels too low for kyaking so would suggest asking about water levels prior to booking if these things are what you're interested in othrrwise a beautiful home is lovely natural surrounds, relaxing and would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay at "Under the Vines" in Sellicks Beach! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a beautifully curated space filled with high-quality touches that created a warm, homely atmosphere. It was the perfect escape for our group of ladies, and we truly felt relaxed and at ease throughout our stay. The nearby McLaren Vale wineries and food were absolutely fantastic, offering an unforgettable experience. We also loved our morning walks along the beach, where the scenery was simply breathtaking. Perfect location, less that 5 mins walk in either direction to Horseshoe Bay and The Strand cafes/groceries/pub. We stayed with a 4 year old - back yard is enclosed, and the house is lovely and comfortable. Separate toilet outside is handy (especially if staying with more than three ppl). Laundry with an easy-to-use washing machine. Kitchen had everything we need. Beds super comfortable. Whole stay was great! Melissa was a great host - we know the area well so didn’t need recommendations, but we had one minor issue when we blew a fuse, and Mel popped around herself to sort out. Super helpful and responsive. Would absolutely stay again.

We had such a lovely stay at this charming tiny home in Strathalbyn. The space was thoughtfully designed, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. The peaceful, quiet ambience made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some stillness away from the city. We especially appreciated the attention to detail throughout the home – from the comfy bed to the well-equipped kitchenette and those beautiful touches that made it feel welcoming and unique. The only thing to note is that the late summer heat and dry weather left the surrounding area feeling a bit dusty and barren, but that’s just nature doing its thing – it didn’t take away from the serenity and charm of the place. Overall, a beautiful little retreat that we’d be happy to return to!

We enjoyed our two night stay at Inge’s place. We were babysitting my young grandson - his first ever sleepover away from his parents - they were staying nearby in Yankalilla. We had some challenges with this house and a toddler - but it would have been the same anywhere else too. The kitchen drawers were a great source of play materials and most things needed to be removed. He also loved to remove the solar lights until I put them out of his reach. The photos showed a high chair but that’s no longer there. I think when he’s a bit older this place would be wonderful for him. Also probably I’d go in winter when there’s no snake danger. I loved the peaceful and scenic environment and another time I’d like to explore it more. The house is spacious and comfortable but not luxurious. It was wonderful for the dog too and lovely to be able to have her there. I’d love to come back maybe without my grandson. The deck area was lovely and will be even better when the wisteria grows more.

Words can’t describe how amazing this find is. Neat, clean, everything you need. I’d even go as far as saying hotel standard! No need to strip the beds, vacuum or pop stuff in the laundry. Great for young families and dog owners. Walkable distance to the beach but not too near the beach so you have plenty of privacy. Would definitely stay again! Hint, do join the wifi the minute you get in. We didn’t, and when we left for dinner, bam, a million messages came in 🤣 The the host, Krystal and team, super amazing communication. They’re proactive and text you before you even ask! Oh and bonus, they use Al.ive products, support local!

Jessie’s place was the perfect home for a weekend away wine tasting. The town of Willunga is McLaren Vale’s cute little brother- think gorgeous cafe’s, local artisanal fare, a weekly farmers market & antique shop. The house is located a short drive from the village (McLaren Vale is super hilly so bikes are optimistic) in a gorgeous vineyard with spectacular views. The house is spacious, super comfortable beds, lovely linen, air con- every thing we needed for the perfect weekend. We’ve made beautiful memories here & we will be back with friends for a winter visit to use the fire!! Thank you!!
