We had a great stay. Sara was very responsive and personally delivered more wood to us for the fireplace. The house was cozy and well appointed. We were close to great hiking and beautiful scenery. It was very peaceful. We highly recommend this location to anyone who is keen to get out into nature!

Quiet, private, comfortable and clean. If you’re looking for a spot to just lay your head, well this is the bed-King sized plush comfort! If you like taking your moments with a coffee in hand, reading your book or gazing out the window. While sitting at an angled chairside table-enjoy the view! If you like outdoor adventures- the exploring starts once you step off the door step. Lovely stay, with short notice Karen was accommodating and is great and easy to talk with. Would stay again! I would highly recommend Derrick and Rachel’s Airbnb for anyone visiting the west coast of Newfoundland! This is my second time staying at this place and it is in an amazing location, right next to the golf course and only a short drive to the ski hill. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, and even provided complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine!

This place was amazing!!! Shawna Lee was incredible to deal with, as soon as we got there she came over to greet us. We were in town for a volleyball tournament she was very accommodating especially with the weather conditions. Would highly recommend staying here! 10/10 experience all around!! ❤️

Amazing and beautiful location. The kitchen was fully equipped and ready for us. The hot tub was AMAZING. Best one I was ever in. The sunset and sunrise on the balcony will take your breath away. Amazing view of ocean and lighthouse. 10/10 will recommend to anyone travelling across the island. Convenient location only 40 mins to the boat.

This place is beautiful! Surrounded by trees, lots of privacy, and a beautiful view of the riverside in front of it. The place has lots of windows and a great deck to enjoy the views. If you are going with a big crowd, there are lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to feel conformable. Has all the appliances you need, and lots of games and books to keep everyone happy. A great place that we will be going back to for years to come!

Amy and Aleks's place was an awesome peaceful getaway. There's lots to do nearby with the provincial park and lots of hiking trails are nearby. The house was very nice and extremely clean. Amy and Aleks also had lots of local recommendations of things to do and see. Overall a great stay!

Paul and Alex’s place was the most beautiful AirBnb we’ve ever stayed in Newfoundland. From the moment you step in, it smells so clean and fresh. You could really tell that the owners thought of everything that a guest would need in a getaway. It was so relaxing and was exactly what we needed after a really stressful past few days. We really wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back again! A special thanks to the cleaning staff for their kindness and hospitality!

A very peaceful little cottage on the river. I had planned to do more adventuring during our visit to Codroy Valley, but turned out sitting on the porch listening to the silence & watching the tide go in & out was way better.
