Places to stay in Port Antonio

Olivette’s place was the perfect getaway for my family. It’s a 5-10 minute drive from all of the best beaches, and 20 minutes to Boston Jerk Centre. She has plenty of information about other fun things to do in the area. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of space, and Olivette was very helpful and responsive. Ms. Nellie cooked for us and it was delicious! The views from the balconies were simply gorgeous. We hope to come back!

Sangela and Jason were welcoming and friendly hosts. They were attentive to any requests and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in our stay. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone coming to Portland. The villa is beautiful with excellent views. It had all the comforts of home. AND more!!!! The hosts went above and beyond with their attention to detail here. The site is very safe and secure!!! A perfect location for accessing cook shop/attractions/town (or an ICE CREAM ;). I recommend a visit to Somerset Falls/The Rio Grande/Winifred Beach/Frenchman's cove/Blue Lagoon/and of course Boston Bay Beach and Jerk Center as well as a fish dinner (close by) at Likkle Portie. Endless amounts of Fun things to do, relaxation, and great new friends to be made! Don't hesitate to book this one!!! Jasti et son mari sont adorables, très accueillant et disponibles. la maison est très propre et bien située avec une belle vue sur la mer . accès au centre ville à pied et aux plages en Taxi.

Andrea's place was very clean, cosy and lovely decorated. Amenities was as described on the listing and easy walkable to grocery stores, restaurant (Roots 21) and fresh produce vendors. Great location at great prices. My only negative on this trip is my wish that mango tree in the front yard was ready so I could get some mangoes to eat 😂. I would highly recommend staying here to solo or couple travelers apartment not ideal for a family. Host is very pleasant, gave clear instructions and even gave list of places to visit while there. If I ever go back to Port Antonio this will be my number 1 pick of a place to stay. Thank you Andrea for being such a wonderful host. I had a great and relaxing time here.

This place is astonishingly beautiful. Driving up the hill, it is hard to imagine what awaits you. A 180 degree view of the sea, surrounded by the lush Jamaican landscape, filled with birdsong and a gentle breeze. It is hard to capture in words or photos. The food, much of which is prepared from produce grown on the property, is extraordinary. But it is not just the view or the landscape or the food. Shirley is an amazing host. Her genuine and generous spirit is obvious from the moment you meet her through to the moment you leave. Many places aim to promote wellness but in reality seem to use it as a marketing tool. This is the kind of place that inspired the term. I feel immensely grateful to have been able to stay here. And I hope to come again soon.

Great Location, Secured Building, helpful staff. Comfortable Space.

The interior was just as shown in the photographs with a few upgrades. There is a split unit air conditioning system inside the rooms and one in the kitchen/living area. Very clean space, we'll designed and spacious. Fresh fruits were a great touch of hospitality. Overall great host, great on-site persons also. Very responsive and helpful. Even had some great neighbors. Better to avoid driving through the Port Antonio town in the day for check in, as Google map will give the shortest route.

Michelle was extremely communicative and helpful. She even helped us facilitate ordering dinner for pick up on our drive to the property from the airport, as it took us longer than expected. Jacqui the property manager gave us great local recommendations and Deenwright and Patrice were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The kids enjoyed the pool and backyard amenities and the space was very private. The location was great as we were able to explore Frenchman’s cove, Blue lagoon, Winnifred beach, and Somerset Falls. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a more local experience than a hotel.

This was our second stay in Fairy Hill at Marvalyn’s. Just as we enjoyed our first, the second stay continued to meet all of our expectations. Marvalyn is an attentive host and is quick to respond should we need to reach out. The apartment is in walking distance to Winnifred beach and a short car ride to the Blue Lagoon and Boston Beach (if you’re looking for waves). It’s also a 5 min walk to Rocky’s Chicken Fry where you’ll find some good Caribbean home cooking! Lastly, Jacquelyn, the property manager, is so sweet and available if needed. We were so happy to see her again! You cannot go wrong with Marvalyn’s accommodations and talent at being your super host!
