Laranjeiras is one of the most popular quarters for locals due to transport facilities (Metro, Long distance Buses, and one of the biggest train stations with trains to just about everywhere). It is also close to many Universities and many Hospitals. The fantastic Lisbon ZOO and the stadium of the most popular stadium of football in the country, the Estádio da Luz of Benfica soccer club, at walking distance. The biggest shopping centres of El Corte Inglês and Colombo are only at a few minutes by metro. The metro station of sete rios or the one of Laranjeiras is at 6 minutes walking (630mts) taking you the very city center in only 15 minutes and to the shopping area of El Corte Inglês at 8 minutes. The buses from Fátima, Evora and Sevilla and many other places arrive at Sete Rios Bus Station at only 5 minutes walking distance.
