Perfect stay. The villa is beautiful, very clean and nice. Located 15 minutes by car from Rethymnon. Perfect for exploring the western part of Crete. Beautiful view. Very easy house to stay in. Excellent pool and Jacuzzi (2 seats). Cleaning done halfway through the stay. One of our best stays.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous. It is in a small town with no facilities (apart from a very informal cafe next door), but the quiet area was exactly what we were looking for. Yes there are some dogs etc, but not excessive, the noise is just local life in the town, which was actually really lovely. The hosts were extremely communicative, we had a few minor issues, but they were sorted in a matter of minutes! Loads of tavernas, beaches, supermarkets within a very short drive, spoilt for choice for loads of amazing food. Highly recommend a stay here, the villa, area, food and people were all fantastic.

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

Fabulous house and location. Clean and stylish with very comfortable beds. Very handy for the beach and town and very close to the supermarket. An exceptionally beautiful part of Crete.

It was one of the best places we visited. The place is new and has everything you need. It was very clean, the view was incredible, and communication and support were excellent. The grill was also great. Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation!

Dimitri and Eleni are top hosts, very welcoming, flexible on arrival times, they have a sense of hospitality and show great humanity and kindness, my family and I had an incredible vacation, we also had the chance to discover the specialties that Dimitri makes, like his cheese, His wine etc… the house is impeccable, very clean, the facilities in the garden are very convenient when you have children, such as the swing, children's games, trampoline etc, the pool has a safety barrier so it is very reassuring for young children. I 100% recommend renting this house, special mention also to Christos with whom I was able to communicate by message on Airbnb and who gave me all the necessary information. I would come back. I👌've done about 10–15 Airbnbs and for the moment this is the best.

We loved every day here! Very high-quality amenities, tasteful and cozy furnishings, kitchen is well equipped (everything you need for cooking and enough to fill a dishwasher), very clean and fresh towels and bed linen, fantastic view (all 5 terraces!) with wonderful tranquility, and an extraordinarily warm welcome package (wine, milk, fresh fruit, vegetables, honey...). Very special!

We felt comfortable in the apartment. Communication with Nikos worked very well. Downtown is a short walk away, as is the airport with local bus lines.

Our stay at Niko's house was just great! The rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking view that you can even enjoy from the hot tub. The location is quiet and relaxing without feeling restricted. The house is spacious and full of loving details that create a special atmosphere. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend this house!

We had a great stay at Michalis'! The location of the property is ideal, with beautiful views and a quiet environment. Michalis and his son welcomed us warmly, even though we arrived a little later because we had taken the more beautiful route through the city of Rethymno. A carafe of raki and chilled water were waiting for us as a welcome – a very nice gesture from Michalis. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the Cretan sea and surrounded by chickens, ducks, cats and the friendly dog Bruno. Our son was thrilled and would have liked to take all the animals with him! The house itself is large, cozy and perfectly equipped and we felt completely comfortable. Michalis' father even surprised us with fresh eggs, a really loving touch. Overall, this place is a place to relax and enjoy. We will be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

This is our second stay at Sofia’s house, just as lovely as before. Sofia is a great host always ready to help. The view is amazing as always and the food delicious. A very relaxing holiday.

We were well received! Angelina was a very nice woman to communicate with. The first night on arrival we got dinner from her because we were delayed 24 hours and the supermarkets were not open. Villa was very clean. Only downside was the wifi in the villa. The connection was very poor and in a room you had no connection at all. After we indicated that there was no wifi, she told me it would be taken care of. After we had raised this, we were in the villa for 9 days. During that remaining time, we didn't hear back from that. The taxi that was offered to take us was also a good taxi service. And all other activities and services offered were high quality. The cleaning ladies were good and thorough in their work which made the villa well maintained. In short, the wifi was a very nice vacation experience and a very nice host.

We will plan the upcoming Crete vacation according to the availability of this house. Here, taste is fused with coziness and wonderful country house design. You enter the house via a courtyard planted with a lemon tree and a pomegranate tree. A summer kitchen and a covered terrace complete the outdoor area on the first floor. Two entrances lead to the spacious living-dining area. Below the stairs is the guest toilet. Another terrace with wonderful distant views of snow-capped mountains, two bedrooms and a bathroom complete this house.

Very nice house and furnished in a functional way. Panoramic location with beautiful views. It is necessary to have a car available for travel. The covered terrace where you can eat is very comfortable. Excellent welcome from Stavros, he also made us find upon our arrival some very good Cretan specialties that we ate the first night at dinner. I recommend the house to those looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle

A beautiful, functional, new and clean house in a colourful and a peaceful village. The village located on a mountain and the weather there is amazing. In a 15 minutes drive you will reach beautiful beach - so you win tow different geography in one stay. The communication with the owner was excellent - fast responded for every question and need we had and helped use get along. Warmly Recommend!

Wonderful House in beautiful surroundings, big garden, great pool, great views. We really felt at home, every kitchen tool an all necessities were there, shelves full of books in english, german an norwegian language. Eivind is a very nice host who answered promptly to all questions and provided valuable recommendations for nearby restaurants and beaches. We had a wonderful time on Crete!

The house is in a great location in a quiet village. It is an ideal place to get quiet from the city's noise. A stone house from an earlier era that has, of course, been renovated but at the same time has kept the character of an old village house. Mr. Frantzeskakis was very helpful and friendly. Very nice house, tastefully furnished and decorated, with all the amenities, large kitchen, barbecue, etc. Outside we enjoyed the large, very shaded terrace. The courtyard offers great privacy. The nearby village is very pleasant on foot, and offers many restaurants and cafes. Everything was perfect, I recommend it. A big thank you to the owners for their responsiveness and attention.

The house has a fantastic view and is spacious anf super comfortable for a family . It really was 'a home away from home', no cliche. Evi s such a nice, warm person. She was always available, recommended places, and was helpful in every way and full of cocern. Highly highly recommended
