House vacation rentals in Pompia

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous villa. From the moment we met Stefanos and his parents at their nearby taverna to say hello and get the keys, we knew it would be a great vacation. We were welcomed with cold drinks and plates of delicious food. Stefanos personally took us to the villa, showed us around and answered all our questions. There was a beautiful food basket (vegetables, fruit, olive oil, and other Crete delights) waiting for us as a further welcome. The villa itself is even more gorgeous than in the photos. It is beautifully appointed and each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bath so it was perfect for the couples staying there. The view is stunning - looking out over olive groves and farm land with the sea in the distance. We found fantastic beaches nearby, groceries and great tavernas in local villages. We also enjoyed some swims in the pool at the villa. All in all, a wonderful stay and a huge thanks to Stefanos and his family for so warmly welcoming us!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Breathtaking views! Do you want a clean and beautiful place to stay? Then you've come to the right place! 🤩 The accommodation is modern, clean and well equipped. The outdoor area is just perfect, great seating, mega pool also for kids and with the spa whirlpool just a paradise! Not to forget this beautiful view of the sunset 🤩 Not only is the accommodation perfect, but the hosts, Maria and Savas, are also great hosts! Friendly and courteous, and always available! They brought toys for my son and despite the fierce challenge with the Sahara dust, they did everything to make sure we can enjoy our vacation 100% 😊 We are already looking forward to our next visit to Crete and to Maria 🥰 Thank you for everything!

Absolutely perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everything worked like a charm and we felt right at home since day one. The host warmly welcomed us and we quickly settled in. All the rooms were spacious and clean. There were two equal bedrooms both with their own en suite bathrooms. Each room had its own control for the AC which was very quiet and cooled the room really fast. The living room had a huge comfortable sofa and beautiful decor! The outdoor terrace was spacious and the plunge pool was really clean. There were two huge sunbeds large enough for at least four people in total and a view to die for! There were also private sunbeds right outside the villa on the cobble beach. All in all a total 5/5 experience and we can’t wait to visit again!

My wife and I loved our stay. The villa was clean and tidy, it was super easy to get into upon out late arrival as well. Our hosts were easy to contact and made sure we had a great stay. The villa is well equipped with amazing fixtures and fittings. We would happily come back again. Thank you Elisabeth and Kritolaos for being such great hosts.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A dream vacation with friends – DejaView in Crete is a real gem! We were able to spend some unforgettable days in the vacation home DejaView – and it was just fantastic! The house itself is modern, stylish and equipped with everything you could wish for. The spacious pool and the breathtaking view over the Cretan landscape to the sea inspired us every day. But what really makes this place special is the host. From the first moment, he was incredibly warm, helpful and attentive – after a very short time, it felt like we had found a friend on site. Whether tips for excursions, restaurant recommendations or just a nice conversation – he was always there for us and made our stay something very special. DejaView is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy and feel good. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation, and we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Communication with the host was smooth and easy.

Our stay at Christina’s was excellent. Exactly what we hoped for, a quiet village, clean space with everything we needed. The locals were friendly and we had plenty to do within a 30m drive any direction. Would recommend as a home base to explore the rural areas of Crete.

Amazing place to stay for some relaxation. The room is very clean and has a beautiful view on the sea, and the shower was super nice and warm. The hostess Maria was very nice and was always ready to help us. There’s a small restaurant nearby called Maria (a different Maria), and she makes the best food and is incredibly nice. Our stay here was amazing!

From the very start Georgia was an excellent host; making sure we were greeted on arrival and providing us with extensive advice on activities and food for the local Heraklion area. The place itself was so charming and has obviously had lots of thought and time gone into it. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everyone.

Staying in the beautiful cottage with stunning views of the sea and the caves of Matala was simply sensational! This view is absolutely worth the steep climb, be sure to bring good shoes. Sofia is a warm and very attentive host, responds quickly and had prepared small delicacies for the reception. The cottage simply has everything you need, very cozy with attention to detail. Now I understand why this house is almost always occupied.😉 In the evening it can get a little louder when the live music is loud, but you know that when you go to Matala.

We had a great stay at Theofilos and Dimitra's. The place is a dream! It is perfectly furnished, it has everything you need and more... Fly screens everywhere, a very good mattress and good Wi-Fi. The view from the terrace is stunning. The house is very secluded, but that's what we liked. Theofilos and Dimitra are super nice and take care of their guests in a touching way. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment is faithful to the description, a functional and cozy house, furnished with excellent taste. Separate kitchen, possibility of cooking outdoors and outdoor space that enhances the holiday even more. The real added value. Host always available to our requests for information. The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. We are always happy to come back. :)

She was the best host that anyone could ever ask for. She went out of her way to give us dinner when we had just arrived (at 11pm) cake and gelatin that she had made from scratch and even gave us amazing places to check out all over Crete. Bless your soul Mandy. I will ALWAYS come back should the opportunity arises. Upon arrival the place was clean and ready on arrival. It was supplied with trash bags, a TV, kitchen supplies, even with some food in the fridge (which we greatly appreciated) great WIFI, and even bathroom and shower toiletries.

A very tastefully furnished accommodation in a small, peaceful village south of the mountains. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! (The sightseeing spots are all further away.) Great restaurants and a supermarket are within walking distance. The beach is directly across the street. A private small terrace with 2 loungers can be reached from the bedroom, and a covered balcony from the living room. The terrace shown in the picture is part of the entire accommodation. We loved being there and can recommend it without reservation! Niko is a very accommodating and friendly host!

We had a great stay in Matala. The appartement has a beautiful location with an amazing view over the beach, sea and caves of Matala. It was only 1 min walk to the main street, and 20 meters more to the beach. Loads of nice restaurants and bars on walking distance. The big plus for us was the private outdoor shower to shower off sand/sea water, and the big outdoor table with an incredible view. It was also a really short hike up to the top behind the appartment to watch the sunsets (on the way to the red beach). Ieronimoss was really helpfull with check-in and check-out. Recommended!

This very clean and ultra-modern vacation home exceeded all our expectations! Such a warm personal welcome by the owners. A well-stocked refrigerator upon arrival, as well as fruit, coffee and refreshments. Beautiful large private pool. Fantastic luxurious enjoyment in all comfort with comfortable loungers and bathrobes/slippers. It was perfect for us, definitely recommend it and will undoubtedly come back soon!
