Family-friendly vacation rentals in Polk County

What a lovely little gem. We were totally surprised by the beauty of our surroundings, and the cleanliness of the home. We were lucky enough to be there during the most perfect weather and got to meet lots of other families vacationing in the area. We will definitely be back and I’ve already shared the spot with friends and family so that they can enjoy this little treasure. I’m so glad that we found this place. It made the trip to go see the eclipse extra special! The lake was the perfect place to take our kids to go do a little fishing and kayaking. Completely satisfied and happy with our experience!

This is a great place for a short getaway! The scenery is beautiful, and everything is very well maintained. We especially enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub! The only downside was the burn ban being in effect. All in all, we had a great experience and will definitely return with the kiddos!

Loved being in the woods! Beautiful location. A few things do not work… the grill and fireplace. Also we couldn’t find firewood and it’s not provided. These were minor things to us and we enjoyed our stay.

Two night getaway for 6th wedding anniversary. Peaceful, quiet, restful time. Bed was super comfortable and the fireplace was wonderful over the colder than normal weekend. Enjoyed eating at the Ouachitas and the Chopping Block and looking around the family owned furniture store. Friendly greetings all around!

This place has always been a great place to stay. Me and my family have rented this cabin and their tiny home across the street multiple times for our yearly trip. The cabin is great, but it’s about a 45 minute ride to the to Wolf Pen trails which is a slight downfall, but still absolutely worth it!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! Very cute and homey when you walk in. Everything was perfect!
