Quaint little space perfect for a couple or small family. Everything you need and peaceful! Hot tub was spot nightly after riding atvs all day! Highly recommend!!!

This was our second time staying at Cathy's property. We love that we can ride from the property to the trails and that it is very close to town. It is always peaceful and a beautiful area!!

Two night getaway for 6th wedding anniversary. Peaceful, quiet, restful time. Bed was super comfortable and the fireplace was wonderful over the colder than normal weekend. Enjoyed eating at the Ouachitas and the Chopping Block and looking around the family owned furniture store. Friendly greetings all around!

Amazing getaway. Everything was exactly as described, quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the stars and deer. The hot tub was so relaxing. The cabin was so cute and stocked with everything you could imagine needing. We will definitely be back!!!

We loved the space provided by this cabin, offering enough room for 9 adults and 1 child to stay comfortably (with room for more!) We feel the cabin would be easier to find with simple instructions so here are the ones we came up with : From Mena take HWY 8 east through the little town of Nunley, turn south (or right) on Polk County Road 57, then about a mile down turn back east (or left) on County Road 624, the cabin driveway will be on the right about a mile down. We also found (after a few wrong turns) that the easiest entrance to Wolfpen gap is a simple right turn onto HWY 8 and east about 2 miles. We also recommend bringing fold up chairs to enjoy the beautiful porch’s and scenery, as outdoor furniture was not available. Overall, we give this cabin a five star rating and would recommend it for trips with a group of fun friends! We cannot wait to return!

The cabin was awesome. We have stayed here twice now. It's a very quiet place to stay. We liked having the fire pit out back.

Inside the cabin was actually nicer than the pictures. Even though it was a cabin, it was very updated. The grounds were very clean and maintained. I had forgot to bring coffee so it was so nice to see that they had that available, including cream. My husband loves him morning coffee. Plenty of towels and just all around nice place. If you’re thinking about renting it, go ahead you will not regret it. Vince was a great host.

Great little place out in the mountains. It is quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Be aware, trains do come by fairly frequently but if you are aware of them they are not an issue; this never affected our peace and quiet or our sleep. Overall, this is a great little escape if you want to get out of a town and be near nature!

This place was just what we expected and more! Peaceful, beautiful surroundings, comfy/cozy cabin. Literally everything is supplied, you don’t have to worry about anything but packing a bag and getting there. The host was very attentive and responded quickly if we had questions! This place is well worth it..did not disappoint! Will definitely book again when in the area!!

We absolutely loved the location and the privacy!

Perfect weekend getaway!! It was plenty of space for our 4 families and I loved that everyone had their own bathroom. The kids bunk room was perfect for them. The house had everything we needed to cook out, have a fire, plenty of space for our trucks and trailers and side X sides. We rode over 150 miles this weekend!! The hosts were always quick to respond to any questions we had and had plenty of clear instructions and house rules. We are all porch sitters so when we weren’t riding, we all hung out on the porch and had a great time. 2 large picnic tables provided plenty of room for game nights. I was so happy we chose the backwoods lodge for our stay. The best part of it all was when Skillet would come to say hello with a smile!! Such a cute and sweet little dog!! We were all thrilled any time he would come over since we all were missing our furbabies. I would recommend Robert and Tamyra’s place anytime!! Made so many memories here!! 💗

Scott was amazing. We showed up way before check in, (my mistake) but Scott laughed and said give me 10 minutes, he had our cabin ready for us in no time. Cozy and close to town! Would definitely go back!!

My family and I enjoyed this clean and charming cabin. It was very peaceful here. My wife loved the swing on the front porch. The couch is also very comfortable. We will be returning.

Loved The Tacklebox! It is exactly as described and pictured. The little cabin community has a fantastic overlook area with picnic tables and fire pits and with a wonderful view. A great place for a tranquil getaway!

We had a great stay! The cabin was exceptionally clean! It’s perfect for a quiet getaway in the woods! We met Scott when we arrived, he was very friendly and welcoming. We hope to return soon!
