Yarrabee Retreat is a cosy, modern, freshly renovated space (55m2) situated on our 2 and a half acres, framed by gum trees and with abundant wildlife. Yarrabee means "many gum trees", and is only five mins drive to Clare. An easy 5 mins walk to Clare Valley Cycle Hire and a leisurely stroll to local wineries. A bright open plan living area, with the kitchenette equipped with a single burner induction hob and microwave. The space is perfect for two, ok for three, but a little cosy for four😁

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

Four Lines is a delightfully presented 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property in Mintaro! Jennifer is a very accomodating, generous and communicative host, keeping us informed, even down to the specials for dinner at the Magpie and Stump (pub). Jenny supplied breakfast items, including local sourdough, coffee and bacon, along with cheese and wine which were perfect to enjoy by the log fire. The property is in a great location, easy walking distance to the pub and two wineries, with plenty of beautiful mintaro slate homes to admire along the way. I would love to go back and I definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Pamela's tiny home. It felt like a bit of an adventure, climbing into the loft at night. The surroundings were comfortable and clean. We felt warm cozy in the lounge room and watched a few movies on the smart TV.

A beautiful set up for a short stay with a lovely outdoor area and easy parking. Only 10 or so mins drive from Clare and Blyth is such a peaceful, little town. Robyn and her husband were easy to communicate with and very welcoming. I really appreciated the breakfast supplies.

We had a fantastic time staying at Sophie’s. It was peaceful and quiet being on a farm and seeing sheep and kangaroos each day. The house was fantastic and big enough for 2 families with young children. We had plenty of firewood to keep us warm. The beds were comfy. Mintaro is 5 minutes away and has a nice pub, a couple of cellar doors and a good playground for the kids. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Clare Valley
