Heidy's place is a perfectly located, cosy spot from which to explore Tortuguero, relax and go to the beach. Less than five minutes walk to centre of town and boat drop off and pick up place, at one end of the street and beach at the other. It is also very quiet and private, we enjoyed using the patio for quiet meals or drinks. The beach is beautiful and their was a sloth one night in a coconut tree on the beach. Heidy had arranged for us to be met when we stepped off the boat and a local guide showed us to the flat. Heidy was always super responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. Please note there is no air-conditioning or hot water in the shower, but that didn't bother us, the fan kept us cool at night. I would love to come back to Tortuguero and hope to stay at Heidy's again.

Simplemente maravillosa. La casa de Nazareth es un verdadero refugio de paz y belleza. Todo está impecablemente cuidado, con una decoración lindísima y detalles que hacen que uno se sienta como en casa desde el primer momento. Es un espacio tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza, ideal para descansar, relajarse y desconectarse del ritmo del día a día. Nazareth fue una anfitriona excelente, siempre atenta y amable. Se nota el amor con el que cuida este lugar. Definitivamente una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en Airbnb. ¡Volvería mil veces!

Es una estancia como la describen: una cabaña rústica, sencilla y sin lujos del caribe de Costa Rica. El lugar es frente al mar y aislado del resto del pueblo y hoteles de Tortuguero. Quiero destacar la gran calidez y atención de los anfitriones: Kevin, Marielos y David. Ellos hicieron que nuestra estancia sea una gran experiencia local, nos sentimos seguros, nos coordinaron los tours e inclusive comida local a domicilio. También todo fue dentro de un precio razonable. Un gran plus del lugar es que las tortugas pueden desovar justo frente a la cabaña por lo que, además de ahorrarte el tour, tienes mucha libertad para ver tortugas.

Andres and his mother Mayela are amazing hosts! Andres replied quickly and very friendly to messages via Airbnb. He also explained how to get to Tortuguero and made sure there was a captain waiting for us at Pavona. Mayela picked us up from the main dock at Tortuguero and shared some of the local foods with us. The location of the house is perfect! Very close to the national park, the beach, a little shop and restaurants. Also, we booked a boat tour with the silent electric motor via Andres and it was really nice! The house itself is simple (as advertised), but has everything you need! We did see some cockroaches walking around in the house, but I don't think there is anything you can do about that. It's the climate on the island. The house is really clean!

Casita en medio de un bonito terreno, con muchos árboles, un río que pasa cerca y animales como patos, gallinas y gallos...La cocina está totalmente equipada y al ser exterior tiene su encanto ya que comes en el exterior bajo un gran porche muy agradable. Camas confortables y baño grande. Todo con gusto.

Allan's home was a perfect place for us to stay while in Tortuguero. He was a very responsive host and the location was great. Nothing is far in Tortuguero. Clean and comfortable with a fully shaded patio which was SO welcomed during the heat of the day. Would book again for any future trip.

Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part de Carlos, il nous a offert des empanadas délicieuses cuisinées par ses soins. Nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires pour réserver les excursions et avons même eu droit à une visite privée à la recherche de la grenouille rouge fraise. Le logement est propre, la literie est bonne et la climatisation fonctionne bien et est silencieuse. Carlos est un hôte exceptionnel je recommande fortement.

La casa está ubicada en un lugar muy tranquilo y seguro, donde se pueden observar muchas aves silvestres. Nos recibieron con la casa bien equipada, todo lo necesario para cocinar, incluso con suficiente leña para usar la parrilla así como para hacer una fogata. Los dormitorios son acogedores y disponemos suficientes cobijas. El balcón es espacioso y dan ganas de quedarse ahí por horas para descansar. La propiedad cuenta con un área verde extensa lo que le da privacidad. Es un lugar ideal para disfrutar de un lugar muy tranquilo y seguro.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour de 3 nuits à Tortuguero. Le logement est encore mieux que sur les photos : très spacieux et parfaitement propre. Tout le nécessaire est là pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. La situation est excellente selon moi car vous êtes à proximité d'un embarcadère secondaire et à une dizaine de minutes des premiers restaurants donc, au calme. Le wifi fonctionne très bien et le lit est confortable. Cependant, j'ai trouvé l'eau de la douche particulièrement froide. La climatisation est un plus. Kiroysha m'a beaucoup aidée avant mon arrivée et s'est chargée de réserver le bateau depuis Moin pour moi. Heureusement qu'elle m'a donné tous ces renseignements car les transports sont vraiment compliqués au Costa Rica. Sur place, j'ai été aidée par Gerson, le frère de Jessenia car elles étaient absentes. Après un peu de confusion, tout le monde a été présent autant en vrai qu'en virtuel. L'excursion en canoë avec Luis Manuel était excellente.

José ist ein sehr herzlicher und offener Mensch! Eigenes Badezimmer, Netflix und sehr saubere Küche! Ich empfehle die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter!

Mir wurde auf dem Weg von San José mein Rucksack im Bus geklaut. Janette hat mir sehr dabei geholfen mich zurecht zu finden und hat sehr viel Verständnis gehabt, weil ich am nächsten Tag direkt wieder los musste deswegen. Ich habe sogar mein Geld zurückgekriegt und nur für die eine Nacht gezahlt. Am Abend als ich ankam haben Janette und ihre Familie mir sogar ein Abendessen gekocht. Wenn ich das nächste mal nach Tortuguero gehe, dann gerne wieder bei Janette. Dieses mal passe ich aber besser auf meinen Rucksack auf :)

Was great. My second time staying with Henry as a host. Last time was the larger house. This time since only two of us I chose this riverfront place. Room was great. Hot water. Great AC. Big tv. Riverfront patio to watch the boats. Beach just a few steps away. Breakfast was huge and very very good beachfront. It’s a short walk from town and the boats pick you up and drop you directly at the house. Can be a bit of noise with the boats on the river. A lot of barking dogs etc. but I slept fine. The town is tiny so no matter where you stay you will hear these things.
