We had a wonderful family stay at the property. A beautiful peaceful setting. We loved the wood burning hot hub and the pizza oven. Gym was great, and games/family chill room was perfect for kids to have their own space seperate from the main living/dining area inside. Jack and Richard on hand and very responsive. Richard even popped over right away with fire lighters on night one when the previous guests had left an empty box which was very helpful.

Very good stay at Louise's who makes herself available, she is attentive and the accommodation was perfect, the small jacuzzi is out of sight. I recommend 100%

Axel was a great host. He made us feel welcome and happily explained the history and culture of the house and region. He took the trouble to make us feel at home despite ours being a very last minute booking. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Our stay was really good and comfortable. The directions Beatrice gave us were helpful and on point, and the house itself was comfy and clean. I recommend staying at the petit courtoux wholeheartedly!

We had such an amazing week at Julie's Gite. As everyone said, Julie is such a super host and she was always trying to ensure everything was as we wanted and expected. She knows so many things around the area and helped us to book an activity and recommended places to visit. We were with our 2 kids and grandparents. They all had a lovely time at the games room and in the pool and the massive trampoline!! ( The kids loved jumping up and down all day.) The rooms were so clean!(I am picky about cleanliness but this Gite had no dust, not even under the beds!) Probably, this place is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything we needed and Julie asked us if we needed more pans, plates etc etc. The nearest supermarket has got everything you need . (fresh fish counter, meat counter as well). We had a day trip to Mont Saint Michelle , Laval, kayaking in Gorron. Our favorite bakery was Boulangerie Chérel at Gorron.Thank you Julie for all of your hospitality.

The cottage is very functional. The setting is truly stunning and there are plenty of walks around. Playing in the garden and fishing safely for the children. The owners are very friendly, available when needed and the welcome is warm. Nature lodges to recommend without hesitation. On the other hand, it's cheaper through other booking networks.

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

We had a pleasant, quiet stay with well-decorated accommodation for the end-of-year celebrations. It was really the little extra touch. Debbie is very welcoming and really available and makes sure everything goes smoothly when you come. Discreet hosts but who respond if necessary. There was a toy box upstairs that made my little boy happy! Thank you

Lovely village, beautiful river and miles of walking or cycling along it. The Presbytery is a beautiful old building and gardens right by the river and guinguette.

Go to Domaine de Valloris with an open mind and heart. Grunchy refrain! Shared kitchen and bathroom, dry toilet, it's a paradise for nature and environment lovers. Edouard and Solwenn's welcome is just perfect.

A beautiful property in a beautiful and peaceful location. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed and some lovely extra touches. The property is deceptively spacious and is immaculate. The beautiful garden is private and contains a lovely selection of garden furniture. Tricia met us on arrival and both she and Mark were on-hand if required. We would highly recommend.

Very nice welcome and ideal accommodation for travel with colleagues. Possibility of outdoor barbecue, several rooms so that everyone has their own space, nearby lake for jogging.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely house. Its located in a small village of only eight houses in a quiet rural area. The only sounds were of nature and farming. At night the distance from any major town meant that many stars were visible. Having a car is essential as the location is remote, but it’s only a short drive to Fougeres, where there are large supermarkets. A parking space is available at the end of the garden, up the shared drive for numbers 7 and 8. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The lounge and dining room in particular were huge. The kitchen had everything we needed. The garden was a very pleasant space and great for sitting out in the evening. Although it got to 35C during our stay the extra thick stone walls meant that it remained cool inside. Communication with our hosts was excellent. We would recommend this house as a relaxing place to stay that is within an hours drive of many attractions.

The house is very nice and well-equipped. The garden is large and enclosed. Not overlooked. Located in the countryside, the place is relaxing. We liked its location, less than 15 minutes from the Château Rocher-Portail. The only downside, the owners are English and do not speak French.

Jean-Pierre and Florence are truly wonderful hosts. The welcome is wonderful and their place is just perfect for a relaxing peaceful break. The gite is very well equipped with a lot of attention to detail. The kitchen has all you need. The garden is private and great to dine in and for sunbathing. The equipment provided is of a very high standard. The house is very tastefully decorated and has a very relaxing energy.
