Der Ort erinnert an die Ostsee, wie wir sie auf Usedom von früher kennen: Hoher Buchenwald, wenig Menschen, keine Autos in der Nähe des Strandes – und die Ostsee ohne Promenade und Spektakel.

Aus dicken Holzbohlen von den Holzhaus-Spezialisten aus der Hohen Tatra gebaut, wären die beiden Häuser mit Sicherheit ein Blickfang für jeden Spaziergänger. Von der ohnehin wenig frequentierten Ringstraße in direkter Strandnähe sind sie jedoch kaum einsehbar. Sie stehen am Grundstücksende, direkt an einer privaten Treppe, die zum Strand hinunter führt.
