It's an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall (only five miles away), Dartmoor, and the wider south Devon area. Sorry, no group or party bookings. One-night bookings are available on request, subject to a 50% premium. There's no self-check-in facility, as we like to welcome our guests face-to-face.

It is only a 10 minute walk to the water taxi to Plymouth’s historic Barbican and Plymouth Hoe The property has its own fenced in garden and parking place.

The Garden Room Glamping, parking/private garden

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the place was. The photos don't really show how cosy the place is. The whole set up is small, but surprisingly has everything you need, even a small twisting hanger to dry my socks, shorts and tshirt after my run every day. The shower is lovely and hot but sadly the sink is awkward to use, but I managed ok as I am flexible ! There is a pub just a stones throw away and 4 different take-away places within a minutes walk. The bed is amazingly comfortable and I slept well, even one night in the torrential rain. I couldn't believe I couldn't hear the rain. I woke early most mornings to sunshine and singing birds and enjoyed my breakfast outside in the private lawn area. I'm delighted to have found this little gem and will most certainly be back.

We had a lovely stay and would definitely go again. Philippa’s place was very comfortable. We felt at home right away. The place is thoughtfully decorated to reflect the area and we love the little village of Turnchapel.

really helpful host he met us at 1 in the morning after finishing work and walked us to his house because we had a horsebox and a van and had to park at the bottom of the road. he was very good at communicating all through. very good host will highly recommend

A well thought out place, with regard to both layout and items available to use. Really nice modern styling and feel throughout. Far enough out of the main city to be peaceful. We already know this area but for anyone Jamie had provided a really good set of information both about the house and the local area. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! You will not regret booking. It was one of the most magical places I have been. Everything was spotless. The location breathtaking. Sarah was fabulous. The jacuzzi and sauna were perfect. As you can see from above I haven't got one bad thing to say. Will 100% be back!

Beautiful cottage perfectly located by harbour achieving brilliantly the balance of modern and cottage. Perfect for our needs. Wonderful views and sunsets blessed as we were with gorgeous weather. I cannot fault the cottage at all. Perfect. Parking proved easy enough for the week very close. Would def stay again if had similar need to be near to Plymouth for a spell again.
