Vacation rentals with beach access in Playa Marsella

An amazing experience in Playa Maderas! The place is very nice, surrounded by nature and with a spectacular view. The cabin was spotless, very nice and comfortable, perfect for resting. The pool is excellent and very enjoyable, especially at sunset. The host was very friendly and always attentive to everything we needed. The service in general was first-rate. Definitely a place I'd love to go back to.

Stella Mar is a great value. We stayed in the upstairs apartment. It was spacious and very convenient. The location is also excellent close to restaurants and it’s right on the beach. We would stay here again.

This place is right on the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen in my life. It was perfect for a weekend with family and friends to enjoy a relaxing weekend. The condo is perfect to get away from the noise and chaos of city life.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb in San Juan del Sur. The location could not be better—just one block from the beach and within walking distance to the best restaurants, the malecón, and a small marina area. It is in a mixed neighborhood, but that is something quite typical for Nicaragua and adds to the local charm. If you come with realistic expectations, this place is truly a great option. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, which was a huge plus, and a small kitchenette for simple meals. One of the best parts was the convenience of having a small pulpería (local store) right next door. The lady who runs it also handles the keys and was incredibly helpful at any time, day or night. It felt like staying in a real community. Victoria was super friendly and always available to answer questions. Her presence next door made things even easier, and we could get anything we needed directly from her store. We definitely plan to return!

Corrin and Jacq were exceptional hosts. Always present and super diligent. The house, in turn, is perfect: excellent location, equipped with everything you need (and more) and extremely comfortable and pleasant. It was an incredible experience, which I recommend to everyone (especially to those who surf, given the two “world class” waves located within the condominium).

She was an amazing host

Martin is a superb host. Very responsive, nice, and accommodating of any need - such a nice person that makes you feel like your stay is the most important thing. The place is amazing. It's small and cozy, with good airflow and AC at hot times. There is a great garden with a big tree for shade, comfortable beach chairs, a hammock, and a shower. The water is 20 meters from the door, and it's a short 15-minute walk to Bigginers Bay and Santana and 2-5 minutes from several restaurants and a grocery shop. We came by car with a toddler and enjoyed the time. It is great for surfers who want to surf the area, beginners who want to learn in the beginners' bay, and people who want to stay in front of the water in a relaxing place.

The apartment was beautiful and had absolutely stunning views. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils we needed, which made the whole experience super comfortable and convenient. The space felt cozy and welcoming—just like being at home. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic place to stay in San Juan del Sur. Would love to come back!

This is the best beach house I've ever stayed in. The view is spectacular, the house is big and spacious, great for large groups and the price is extremely reasonable for the amount of people you can fit. Recommended 100% and I'll definitely be back here in the future.

The property is nestled in the heart of the Iguana community, close to the golf course. I truly enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the area. I fell in love with the design and the open layout of the living room, with its beautiful view of the trees. The local services are excellent—you can arrange for sourdough bread deliveries and pick up fresh fruit from the weekly market drop-off. I was able to work remotely with reliable Wi-Fi while still enjoying a fun surf vacation with friends. Aurelie was incredibly responsive and easy to reach, both by phone and in person at the property.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Carmen is great to communicate with and her home is beautiful. The beach is your backyard and there was security during the duration of our trip, so we felt safe the whole time. The housekeepers made us breakfast on one of the days we were there which was great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the service, friendly staff and everything is very clean, the house is equipped with everything and is super comfortable.

Can't say enough about Casa Margarita. It was a wonderful trip, made even better by a communicative, helpful, engaged owner. I'm hesitant to write such a glowing review because I want it to be available when I return to Guasacate next year! It would be a fool's errand to try to encompass my thoughts, as I'd leave something important out, but it's a safe bet that you'll enjoy your stay at Casa Margarita. I'll certainly be back soon.

Carrie was extremely proactive and responsive in helpful finalizing the reservation after I made some mistakes. She and the caretakers also accommodated our late check-in, still assisting and showing the place so we could get settled quickly. The place was as described and the photos accurately represented what we received. All the rooms were clean and prepped well for our arrival. We also took advantage of some extra cooking services provided by the catchers. They accommodated our requests and we were blown away by the food and service!

We had a great time at Villa Lorito!! Some drawbacks included: The kitchen had some functionality issues, but we were still able to cook without much trouble. I’m confident this is something that can be quickly addressed. Additionally, while parking was available, it was not directly at the property but within walking distance. Though manageable, it felt a bit far, especially when carrying luggage or groceries. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the villa's charm and amenities.

I loved my stay the place is great. The balcony gives a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset is breathtaking. The spot is perfect for surfing and enjoying the beach and pool to the fullest. To get to the village it is best to rent a small bicycle, motorbike or golf kart! For sure, I'll be back next year!

Maria’s place was amazing, the view of San Juan del Sur bay was absolutely beautiful! She was incredibly communicative and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and well-informed. We especially appreciated her guidance on electricity use, which helped us stay within the daily budget, very helpful given how energy costs work locally. Her recommendations for places to visit were spot on, and she was always ready to help. Thank you, Maria, for being such a thoughtful and welcoming host!

Really lovely place to stay. Located in a beautiful spot and the apartment was exactly as described. All really clean and comfortable. A very short walk to the beach where there is a nice bar and restaurant. There is also a little pool just outside the apartment block which was really handy for little ones. Roberta was very helpful and quick to answer any question. We’d definitely stay here again!

Paul’s place was so lovely & spacious for us, we absolutely loved the open kitchen/lounge and balcony views. Everything very clean! Beds were SO comfortable, we had great nights sleeping there. The pool was also lovely & we were the only ones using it. It’s about 10-15 mins walk to town and easy to get cheap taxi’s back. Theres a small shop nearby for essentials. The only tiny downside was the WiFi was quite intermittent at times with all 4 of us using it, but this is to be expected in Nicaragua & we weren’t that bothered! Lovely stay and would love to stay again in the future!

I love it when I can walk a mile on a beach and generally see no more than 3 dozen people the whole time. There were always surfers enjoying the great waves and the water is never calm which meant I felt better in the pool. There were several restaurants which made it nice for night dining. There's a 9 hole golf course and once you pay for 9 you can play as many holes as you want. It was always possible to go to the office with a question or text them and they were responsive.

This place is very cozy, comfortable and has an awesome balance of being modern, yet simplistic.

The accommodation was in perfect condition, very comfortable, just steps from the beach, the owners are very friendly and respond very quickly to any questions. To take into account in the future, in the complex there is only 1 pool for the 3 apartments, the owners live right there, and although a car can enter from the street, it is better to arrive with a high car. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant.
