Staying at Rolland’s place in Popoyo was an absolute dream. The house is gorgeous, perfectly located right by the beach, and incredibly well-maintained. It was spotless and felt fresh, clean, and cared for in every detail. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Rolland himself. His energy is incredible, warm, uplifting, and full of positivity. He’s one of the kindest and most genuine hosts we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, Rolland made us feel completely at home. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and loves sharing the magic of Popoyo. If you’re thinking about booking, do it! You’ll leave with great memories and a new friend. Thank you so much, Rolland, we can’t wait to come back!

hervorragendes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Wir bezahlten ca 26$ pro Nacht in der Regenzeit. viel Platz, moderne Einrichtung, gute Ausstattung in der Küche. Dicht am Badestrand. Wegen anderer Bewertungen: Insekten sind in Nicaragua ganz normal. wenn keine da wären, würde es mich stutzig machen, weil dann vermutlich eine umweltschädliches Insektizid verwendet wurde. Stromausfälle sind ebenfalls normal. wir hatten dadurch leider etwas Probleme mit dem Internet, aber Rosie und chilano waren sehr hilfsbereit. Chilano bringt einen außerdem zum nächsten Supermarkt mit dem Motorrad. Trinkwasser wird auch in der Unterkunft kostenlos bereitgestellt.

I cannot recommend 99 Surf enough. We had the most restful, fun stay. The food, yoga, and surfing exceeded our expectations. The people in the community and the staff were so hospitable and kind. I would go back in a heart beat.

Joyce is extremely responsive as she lives onsite. She was helpful with local recommendations. Close to Playa Santana and Beginners Bay—can walk to both. Power went out daily for minutes or several hours, but Joyce has a back up generator for running the essentials. We found the pool right on the beach a lovely way to enjoy non surfing hours. Would stay again.

Marta and Steve’s home was an absolute dream! We chose Rancho Santana for a surf trip to celebrate my 40th birthday, and it turned out to be a truly life-changing experience. This was our first time visiting Nicaragua, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The hosts provided incredible personal recommendations—drivers, surf guides, fishing, things to do, and the best surf spots—which made our trip effortless and memorable. Their housekeeper, Anna, warmly greeted us upon arrival, and to my surprise, they had a thoughtful birthday gift waiting for me! Anna kept the condo spotless throughout our stay. The condo itself was beautifully decorated, exceptionally comfortable, and had an amazing ocean view. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful extras like a cooler and beach towels. Rancho Santana is absolutely stunning—lush flowers, tropical trees, incredible restaurants etc. Every part of our trip exceeded expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!
