There are a few houses and a garden nearby; it's not a secluded spot in the woods! It's on the outskirts of the city, where you can already go out into nature. Romantic wooden house in the western part of the Ore Mountains, 620 m above sea level. Enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, go cycling, climbing, skiing or just take a walk deep in the forest! In the evening you relax in our cozy wooden house under the pine trees, so that new adventures await you in the largest contiguous forest in Central Europe the next day. The Grünhäuschen is located on the grounds of the former municipal office, protected from traffic noise, under pine trees.

We have transformed this hundred years old, newly renovated house into a comfortable mountain backdrop for ourselves and our guests. The base capacity is 8 people in 4 bedrooms, for additional 2 guests we provide extra beds. Facilities include sauna, ski-room with a hot-air boot dryer and roofed parking space on the property. Privacy is guaranteed by a large fenced garden. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and local ski slopes. Garden Finnish sauna is for an additional fee.

Up to 12 people can now be accommodated on 200 m² on 3 floors. The rooms are airy, with historical details from many decades. The house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, in the immediate vicinity of the Hohenwarte reservoir, the ideal area for hiking, biking or canoeing.
