Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Platte Lake

We love staying at Ashley’s houses! Awesome location for torch lake and great clean houses with room for a good size group!

We enjoyed our stay here! It was conveniently close to Caberfae (we took the 2 minute drive each day but you could have walked it (maybe 1/2 mile or so walking) and had plenty of space to fit our group of 6. Also had a convenient entryway area for storing our ski gear.

This was an incredible experience. Brenden helped me out when I was in a panic about where to stay after a previous reservation had fallen through. Very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The property was beautiful and house was clean. Garage was spacious and rooms were perfect for guests we had. The only bummer was the rain all weekend to not enjoy the outdoors/lake but the company was good! Would highly recommend not only this property but Brenden as a host!

Mary is a great and kind host. She made ourselves like feeling at home. Homemade muffins were greatly appreciated. She also made us an extra gifts by proving some extra toys for our toddler. She was also flexible with check in and check out. Very nice decorated home!!

House was exactly as listed. In addition to being spotless clean, all the house amenities were top notch with the best being the kitchen. Made majority of meals in high end kitchen - so refreshing to have quality pots and pans that made the experience great. Master bath was large with multiple shower heads in the shower. We enjoyed the rear patio at night with a relaxing fire in the gas fire pit. Parking was more than adequate with plenty of room and large garage that allowed storage of multiple bikes and e-scooter. Location was great with short walk to downtown or waterfront. Be sure to check out the Bricktown Cookie Company, Bricktown Burger and Loco Boys Brewing all less than 2 blocks away. Access to Tart & Boardman Trails was very easy allowing near daily rides. Be sure to check out walking trails at Hickory Hills and Vasa - very easy and relaxing. Communication with Rande was outstanding with near instant response. Obvious that Rande really wants guests to enjoy the house

This was our 2nd time staying at Chris’s place. It really IS perfect. We like to relax and spend time with family and friends in this space. The kitchen was stocked and we found it easy to Prepare meals. The appliances were up to date. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. The back yard was perfect for our blind doggie to wander around. The walking trail wasn't long, but it had a big hill so my heart got pumping. We would definately stay here again!

Great location close to town, walk to tasting rooms, restaurants, etc. Quiet neighborhood. Clean, charming, has everything we need. Have stayed several times and we love it.

Brenda and Jim’s place is great if you are in the area as it’s very quiet and private, beautiful surroundings and not too far from TC or the Frankfort area. We spent the weekend for the local Ironman and it was the right choice. You get all the rest you need and are close enough to both the race venue and some other small towns with nice places to eat and chill. The property was very clean, well organized and really spacious. I’d totally recommend it.

It was absolutely beautiful. The trees had just changed colors and it was such a nice view! It was quiet and private. During business hours, you can hear the wine tasting room but that didn’t bother me at all. We stopped in and the staff were super friendly and helpful. So happy to have visited. Highly recommend!

Angela’s place was amazing! When we walked in, we were in awestruck by how classy the furniture selections and decorating were. Also, this was probably the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed in. Angela was very communicative, and she provided great recommendations for places to dine. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, with the reflection of the full moon over the bay…so cool! We would love to come back to the area, and this place will certainly be our first choice for places to stay!

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our getaway on Stevens Lake. The setting of this house is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. We loved listening to the loon on the lake and our son had a great time down by the lake. The house itself was clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. We arrived late at night on a foggy night, but Jane's directions were perfectly clear so we had no trouble locating this out of the way spot. Would highly recommend.

Andy's place was amazing and comfortable! This was probably our favorite stay on Airbnb! It was exceedingly clean, and it had everything we needed! Andrew was extremely friendly and WE WILL BE BACK! Look no further- it was super close to Bear Lake and a short drive to Crystal Mountain. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and hospitality! A+!!!! Thanks for everything, Andrew!

Felicia's rental unit is better than the photos! :) It is peaceful, calm, and in a picturesque part of Manistee. The unit has great windows: in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. There is so much great natural light that makes this place feel extra special and homey. Spacious and comfortable. Comfortable bed and furniture. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Relaxing bathtub. I stayed here for a long weekend as a solo traveler, and I can't wait to return for another stay. It would be a great place for a longer stay as well. Felicia was a proactive and gracious host. She thoughtfully provided pasta and sauce to cook (which I used!). She also let me park in the driveway during the snowy weekend, which was much appreciated. Lovely stay! Can't sing enough praises!

Beautiful secluded cabin. Only twenty minutes away from caberfae for skiing. comes with a grill and an electric camping stove top. three beds and plenty of space. Tonna was super responsive and when the air b&b app was malfunctioning she contacted me right away through my number. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and will definitely be bringing my wife and kid up next time!

Wonderful little rustic cabin! Stayed here with my mom for 2 nights. Very easy to travel to and from manistee/ludington. Love the feeling of rustic camping but with a private toilet and shower.

We enjoyed our stay! The dogs loved the fenced in back yard and it was in a perfect location to go hiking.

This place was easy to find and very affordable. It was very clean, has easy to follow rules for guest and has an abundant supply of things you will need for your everyday stay. Great stay for a couple or a family!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils to cook with. Home was clean and the fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. Host was very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, clean, and cozy! A great weekend stay

Beautiful cabin! Lots of hiking around the area that was great for our dogs. Everything is under a 10 minute drive which was awesome. We got lucky with amazing weather during our stay so we were able utilize the outdoor furniture and space! The cabin itself was super tidy and clean and loved the look of it all. The hosts left us a nice bottle of wine and delicious cookies! Overall, a great weekend getaway!

This place was great for a quiet, peaceful sisters weekend. It was rainy which was perfect to just read, eat and watch the wildlife right outside the glass patio door. We saw 3 different kinds of woodpeckers, squirrels and even a few frogs! We were still able to enjoy soaking in the hot tub, which is very private. There is nothing but woods behind the cabin. The inside is really cute and very comfortable, also very clean. There is a tv for movie nights and WiFi for streaming services. The kitchen had everything we needed also. Highly recommend!
