Vacation rentals with lake access in Platte Lake

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

The place is adorable and peaceful. The decor is cottage cute! Being able to walk out the back door to Lake Michigan for a bonfire every night was amazing!!! Three chairs are set up by the big window with sweeping lake views to chill in the evenings. Just be aware the place is smallish and no dishwasher so I would keep it below 6 people, but it worked out great for the two of us on our anniversary. It was romantic and a super pick!!! You will not be disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised!!! :)

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location - perfect for our family getaway!

This was the perfect stay for a family weekend up north! Loved how peaceful the area was, yet still an easy distance to Traverse City for food/activities. We also loved all the games and puzzles in the cabin! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

"Place of Our Dreams!" Our stay was peaceful, yet there was plenty to do around. Even when the weather turned on us one day, we found ways to enjoy our time. After a very busy summer, this trip was the perfect remedy for our stress—especially with our two kids in tow! The ample space and various activities allowed us to truly relax and rejuvenate. I was particularly impressed with how functional the space was—everything was easy to use and easy to clean. The hosts were fantastic; they not only knew the answers to all our questions but were also eager to help in any way they could. We can't wait for our next stay!

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view right at the back of the property — it felt like having a private slice of nature all to myself. The space itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and the host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout the stay. Whether you’re looking to relax, read by the water, or simply enjoy a scenic getaway, this place is perfect. I left feeling completely recharged and already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone who loves nature and tranquility!

We had a wonderful stay. This house was well equipped in the kitchen, baths and bedrooms with quality, newer, matching pans/utensils, towels and bedding. Plenty of paper products as well. Lots of space for 7 adults, including a very comfortable living room (2nd on lower level) and beautiful deck with plenty of seating and even a Solo wood stove!

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

Wonderful place to stay off-season. Exactly what we were looking for. Very convenient and effortless check-in check-out.

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at jeffrey’s place! From the pictures, we were expecting it to be great but it exceeded our high expectations! The location is perfect for exploring traverse city. The decor is elevated and the space was more than sufficient for our group of 5. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds felt high-end. It’s not often when all bedrooms have a king bed! We were thrilled. Would highly recommend!

We were in town for the Bayshore Half Marathon and initially expected a group of five, but it ended up being just two couples. The condo was perfect for our group! The parking was clearly marked, and we had the place to ourselves. It was easy to access, and we even tried out the elevator. At first, we weren’t sure which building was ours since there are several nearby, but once we got our bearings, everything was smooth. The location truly can’t be beat — we were able to walk to almost everything! The views are absolutely stunning. I only wish we had better weather so we could have spent more time outside enjoying them. The condo itself was clean and comfortable, with just the right amount of space for the four of us. Having two bathrooms, a cozy living area, and separated sleeping spaces made our stay really comfortable. We’d love the chance to stay here again in the future!

Such a beautiful place to stay. My Grandpa owned this property in the 70's and my family was happy to see how well maintained the cottage is and the nature that surrounds it. It was such a blessing for us to come back and visit. Thank you for taking such good care of it.

Nice little cabin, close to many bodies of water and centrally located between Glen Arbor and Leland. Had a great time.

We had a great stay. The location and view of the lake was perfect and cozy. The cabin was beautiful and clean. I also appreciated the updated bathroom.

This is a hidden gem. Location is perfect! It’s so private and quaint. A perfect drive to and from Traverse and Glen Arbor. Nothing beats a property on a lake. Plenty of backyard to run around on too. There is a neighborhood trail that you can stay on to walk miles without having to go back n Major roads, this was a major perk for us to run on and walk on. Definitely would love to come back.

This is our fourth time renting the elk rapids cottage from Chelsea and each time has been wonderful - a perfect, cozy little spot for our small family!

We have stayed at Lisa's home a couple times now and enjoyed our stay everytime! Lisa is responsive and has a great home and recommendations for things to do/go to in the area.

Great location and very respectable community with a lot of options for activities!

We had a great holiday weekend at the cabin for the Bayshore Marathon. It is very clean and has everything we needed and more. It had a seccluded woodsy feel in spite of being very near the main parts of town and walkable. Close to the beach, the start trail but private with a wooded back yard and creek running through the property. 3 mile is noisy and busy as is 31 but it didn’t bother us. We brought ear plugs just in case.
