Cosy & bright Wee (small) house in my Garden.

Barnacle is a bright tiny house situated in our back garden. It is private and is not overlooked. It has sea views towards Point and beyond to the west coast of mainland Scotland. It’s a small one bedroom house with a double bed and an en-suite shower room. The Living/kitchen area has a dining table with garden/sea views, a comfortable sofa and a well equipped kitchen. There is no WIFI or TV. There is a Bluetooth radio, books and games and 4G. It's a short walk with steps from the carpark.

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Glamping Pod, Guershader, Isle of Lewis

Located in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway (approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre). The pod is situated in front of our own home with your own private parking in front of the pod. Only 2 miles from the ferry terminal this is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over! If you’re looking to come for a longer stay then we hope you enjoy coming back each day to a cosy, quiet and comfortable pod 😊

Fisherman's Cottage

Welcome to fisherman's cottage: a calm space great for families or couples. A former cow byre built in 1850, the cottage is tucked down a lane out of the worst of the winter storms. So whilst the cottage doesn’t have sea views, it overlooks our little woodland nature garden. Just five minutes from Stornaway ferry terminal and bus station, and under ten minutes by car from the airport, this cosy cottage is a great base from which to explore the Isles of Lewis and Harris.

My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. In my croft I have Hebridean sheep and hens. Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring. Marie is an excellent host, the pod is fantastic and has everything you need and more, really well thought out. It’s in a beautiful location, Marie even leaves dog bags if you bring a dog. If you go over to the Isle of Harris i highly recommend staying at Marie’s. Thank you for a wonderful stay 👍

What a beautiful cabin on the outskirts of Stornoway. It was a perfect home from home for my wife and I on the last few nights of our journey up through the Outer Hebrides. Anne’s very helpful in suggesting places to visit and Reef Beach is a must. The welcome pack of local produce was tasty and very much appreciated. Will definitely stay here when next back in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed Alex’s camper van. Mom, dad, kiddo and two pups fit perfectly and had everything we needed for our travels and to be self-sufficient. Alex communicated well, was friendly and polite and helpful with recommendations and advice. He met up with us at the ferry to run through the camper van workings and was at the port for drop off. Would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful opportunity to experience the quiet and authentic side of Stornaway. We loved every minute we spent at The Bunker! The views were spectacular and the sunrises/sunsets ever changing. The kitchen was sprinkled with locally baked treats and even homemade jam for us to enjoy. It was such a delight. The only drawback, for me personally, is how I move forward with no warming towel rack in my life!! I can’t unfeel the delightfulness of warmed clothes on a chilly morning. They are not common in the states. On a scale of one to ten, The Bunker was easily a 72 ;).

I’ve stayed with William before - great host and a nice simple well located flat at a good price. I very much enjoyed my stay - kitchen and shower and heating and facilities all good - a great little place to stay.
