GREEN VIEW HOUSE WITH POOL!!

Today it remains an opportunity for authentic adventure travel to a naturally beautiful Mexican village. Most famous for its waterfalls and beach the cobblestone paths, jungle fauna, and quaint restaurants and stores further add to Yelapa's charm. Our house is near town, off the main path behind the old elementary school. We have a fantastic pool with jungle view and glimpse of the ocean through the trees - only a 3 min walk! We have a single access for all the houses, each house has its main door, only the corridors are shared to reach each one! We are 5 mins from town, 3 mins from the little beach, and 10 - 15mins from the main beach. It's a great location as we are tucked back in the jungle enough to be away from the noise of the pueblo but close enough to everything that it's super convenient. Everyone walks here! Or takes an ATV or donkey. There are no cars. It's hilly so bring your walking shoes. We have HIGH SPEED INTERNET AND AIR CONDITIONING!

The Palm Tree House at Casitas Patz was designed to live in connection with nature from comfort and beauty. The fish and plants of the last pond help us keep the water clean and create an incredible ecosystem.

Very accommodating stay. Definitely need to be ok with walking if you plan on visiting town, as it is across the beach. But I found the walk to be no problem. There are steep stairs to Yelapa’s main camino that can be a bit hard to find at first. The bathroom is connected to the bedroom without a door, so just be ready for this. The room itself is very open and airy. The cabana on the beach is a nice feature. I had a hard time figuring out how to use the induction stove in the kitchen, but I got it to work. Alexis is very helpful and an awesome host. The view is fantastic and I hope to stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying here. We stayed an extra night and would have stayed longer and not gone to the hotel we had booked if it wasn’t already booked! The house manager Alex is incredibly helpful!! He knows many people in town and was able to help us while we stayed there with whatever we needed and also afterwards, when we were staying at a hotel and needed help! The bathroom and kitchen was beautiful and clean, the bed was super comfortable and the location is peaceful and convenient! We appreciate how the doors are soundproof for if it was noisy outside, which wasn’t often. We definitely plan to return! Muchisimas gracias por todo!!!

Lalo’s place is great! Very secluded and private which was nice. Surrounded by greenery, clean interior, all amenities mentioned are there. Nice to hang out on the deck, plenty of fans out there to enjoy the outside. Its a 10 min walk to town, which is great. Lalo was responsive and flexible. Highly recommend this spot for a solo or travelling couple. Saludos, Max :)

Oceanfront retreat: Chonchos/Chimo/Puerto Vallarta

Honestly one of the most unique and private stays we have ever had. The place was immaculate and beautiful and open to the ocean. It was incredible. We had all surrounding beaches to ourselves our entire stay. The host was helpful in arranging transport and extra groceries for us! Definitely for the adventurous. Jumping out of a boat into waves on arrival, hikes up and down terrain to the beaches (not more than 10 minutes). Just short of an hour hike to town where typical groceries are scarce (so bring what you need). Great restaurant in town and very friendly locals. Be prepared for some extra fees. We paid 200 pesos to cab from PV, 400 pesos to water taxi from Boca to Chonchos, 500 pesos tip at the end of the stay, another 500 for a donkey ride into Chimo to catch the boat back. The locals charge another 100 just to row you out to the taxi and then you pay the same amount to come back into the mainland. I would pay that all again for this incredible experience! Must visit!!
